You will need photo ID to criticise the government on social media. But not to vote. Do you see what's happening?
🚨NEW: It's been revealed Andy Burnham is rushing through laws to scrap photo ID checks in polling stations [@Telegraph]

Maybe the government will consider banning the Muslim Brotherhood *after* Thursday's by-election? Or will they feel they have to wait to see if they've won back the four "pro-Gaza independent" seats at a general election before they can act in the country's interests?
He lives in Britain and was granted UK citizenship. The Muslim Brotherhood brings him to universities to lecture students, while he openly calls for your deaths in HD. You call him an activist. In the UAE, we call this terrorism and ban the Muslim Brotherhood. You don’t.

When I was 17, I stole a car & crashed it. 30 yrs later, this has resulted in me being denied entry to both the US & Australia. Personally, it was annoying, but fair enough they want to police the standard of person entering their countries. UK doesn't seem to have any standards.
Abu Wadee, an alleged Palestinian gunman, who called for the slaughter of Jewish people cannot currently be deported to Gaza after completing a jail sentence for trying to enter the UK illegally. 🔗:telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/09…

A new low. Shameful, moronic, negligent, inept, naive, cynical self destructive, legalistically lethal & ideological capture suicidal sanctimony. Brilliant reporting @Gabriel_Pogrund @thetimes as with other cases recently by brilliant legacy media which unlike tainted tv-news is doing admirable service. Hamas terrorist given visa & anonymity then gathers arms to plan attacks on Jews. Who made these decisions? This isnot just this inept cynical Labour govt (see recent comments on ‘underdogs’ & ‘doing good’) but also recent Tory govts & civilservice all captured by a pious legalistic ideology that doesnt reflect reality and uses our law & kindness against our national security and the safety of civilians and our own poeple. UK gave citizenship to Hamas chief’s guard, then he ‘plotted terror’ thetimes.com/article/47beb37…

Labour tried to delete court records that helped expose the rape gangs. Journalists have used Courtsdesk to uncover some of the most horrific crimes. Labour would rather see them covered up. We fought back against their plans to wipe this vital archive. And we won.
Delighted to be able to say that Courtsdesk UK - our platform for the news media - is back. We have just made history with the first ever licence for computational use of restricted (and pretty much all) UK courts data. Some thoughts here! bit.ly/4hmAxyV

Two things the government is doing right now: 1) Launching a National Centre for Information Defence to battle 'far-Right narratives' and 'distorted and untrue' narratives about Britain. 2) Using legal action to prevent the release of crime data broken down by nationality.

If you find comedy offensive, then DON'T FUCKING WATCH IT. But stop treating the rest of us like children who must be carefully protected from anything remotely controversial.

Can we be honest here? Sydney Sweeney was not chosen for the ad as a "representation of women in sport," she was chosen for the ad because they're trying to sell a gambling app to 18-24 year old males who masturbate frequently
Amy Hunt with a message for Sydney Sweeney. 👀 The British sprinter had her say on the conversation around the representation of women in sport following Sweeney’s controversial new sports campaign. What do you think? 💭

When candidates campaign in a foreign language, the vast majority of people can't understand the promises they make. It makes it impossible to hold our would-be representatives to account. We must ban this practice. Politics must be conducted in the language of public life.

Was down in Midlands today so caught game at @halesowentownfc . One of best non-league setups I've seen. Nice ground, buzzing atmosphere, quality range of food & drink, plus good attacking football. Halesowen Town 4-2 Leighton Town Southern League Central Prem.

“We will always stand with the underdog” is an idiotic child’s approach to international affairs. The Taliban were the underdogs. Al-Qaeda were the underdogs. ISIS were the underdogs. The IRA, ETA, just about every terrorist group were underdogs. What a moronic thing to say.
Andy Burnham: 'We will always stand with the underdog... that is leadership on the world stage.' The PM praises his government's decision to announce sanctions on imports from illegal settlements in the West Bank.
