Great discussion between @chrisling_dev and @gametheorizing on where perp markets go from here. From GPU prices to volatility, bond yields and commodities, the two explored how far the perp market can expand beyond crypto, and what it actually takes to build sustainable markets around these new asset classes. Not everything needs to be perpified, but the opportunity is much bigger than crypto.

Wen Adoption is a wrap. 🌐 Data centre power demand is set to double by 2030, to roughly what Japan uses today. Compute and energy are becoming one market. During token2049 this year, we invited our LPs and portfolio companies to explore who's building for it 🧵👇

Can't believe this was just <2 years ago, $80 Billion dollars of wealth created
If you missed the Hyperliquid airdrop, the bad news is you missed the greatest wealth creation event in Crypto’s history. The good news is the second best wealth creation even will be Hyperliquid going from $8B to $88B, where $80 Billion dollars of wealth will be created. It is ten times as important to not miss this event, you can’t afford to.

Congrats on the win! Having built Supercexy myself (and gotten it to one of the first to pass Phantom's daily volume), this is one of the few builder code frontends I genuinely admire. They own their distribution outside of CT with barely any X presence and bring real net new users to @HyperliquidX. Awesome work!

Quick story: during one of the @Hyperliquid_MY meetup, @realJoJo tried to explain concentrated liquidity AMM to the traders/builders crowd. Instead of giving a boring textbook explanation, he pulled up tradingview and started drawing fibonacci on the chart and taught everyone how to manage impermanent loss and profitability. The man knows his shit and is one of the most sincere and talented builders I know. Definitely reach out if you’re hiring!
To everyone hiring in remote growth / marketing / product / ops: I’m looking for my next role 👋 7+ years in Web3 moving across growth, marketing, community, product and on-chain ops. I ship fast and work across functions. TL;DR: If you need an operator/muscle who handles crises, builds systems, actually knows a lot of crypto & DeFi and has deep real personal agency — I’m that guy. Happy to offer $500 referral tips for successful closed matches 🫶 Things that I've done: • Hosted @Hyperliquid_MY events with 1,000+ IRL attendees • Built Rysk Portfolio that served ~200 users on @ryskfinance (Capable of building and deploying stable softwares with AI) • Ranked top on Google for hard keywords, also ranked on LLM searches (When someones ask for suggestion from AI, I help get your brand mentioned!) • Drove 24% conversion on SpaceX pre-IPO sales at Tessera and cut ad spend 95% while keeping volume • Designed the ALEX Surge leaderboard post-hack — restored TVL to ATH and rebuilt community trust • Led on-chain forensic investigations after platform exploits, helping freeze $10M and recover $2M • Served as frontline crisis manager during multiple hacks and exit scams • Built anti-fraud systems, agentic support infrastructure and KOL dashboard • Grew Creditcoin communities +14K TG, +9K Discord, +30K X (53K+ new followers overall) • Authored full ecosystem GitBooks and produced 30+ product education videos that cut support volume My DMs are open. RTs are super welcome 🫡

Malaysia’s startup ecosystem is growing fast but founders still need the right capital, network, and market understanding to scale properly. At the DFNS Institutional Stage, Jacob Ko (@jacobkxyz) from Superscrypt (@Superscrypt), Taraec Hussein from Jelawang Capital (@jelawangcapital), and Emerson (@OpenZenjin) from LongHash Ventures (@LongHashVC) joined moderator Chris Ling (@chrisling_dev) from No Limit Holdings (@nolimithodl) for the panel: “Navigating Malaysia’s Startup Ecosystem: What Investors and Founders Need to Know” A focused discussion on fundraising, founder readiness, investor expectations, and what it takes to build stronger startups from Malaysia into the wider regional market.

You already use Malaysian products every day You just don't know they're ours Check a coin's price? That's @coingecko, the world's largest independent crypto data site Confirm an @ethereum transaction? That's @etherscan. Both built by Malaysians. Both still run out of KL. Not SF. Not Singapore And the list is longer than you think: → @tn_pendle started @pendle_fi, one of the biggest protocols in DeFi → @sssionggg co-founded @JupiterExchange, the largest dex on @solana → @virtuals_io, a breakout AI-agent project this cycle, Malaysian too → @CarsomeMy, Malaysia's first tech unicorn, out of KL → @piktochart, millions of users worldwide, out of Penang Most of the world has no idea So why do we stay underrated? Because we don't talk about it. We build the thing, then go quiet and start the next one. No launch thread, no victory lap, no "humbled and grateful to announce." Great instinct for building. Terrible one for getting noticed And the one everyone knows? @InsideGrab started in KL too, then moved to Singapore to scale That's the pattern that should bother us. We keep producing world-class founders and keep exporting the scale But crypto changed the math Your market is global from day one now, not capped at 33 million. CoinGecko and Etherscan proved you can build a category from KL and never leave So consider this me being loud about it, for once Make Malaysia great 🇲🇾 Who's a Malaysian founder the world should know? Tag them 👇

🇲🇾 I'm Malaysian, so watching @balajis's Network School (@ns) get its license pulled in Johor isn't abstract for me The concept was good. It brought real energy into a near-empty city. It still got shut down. If you're a Western founder looking at Asia, don't read the headline. Read why: 1. You're a guest here. Not a disruptor The whole network-state pitch runs on "permissionless," but Asia runs on permission, and permission is earned. Local law and sovereignty aren't friction to engineer around. The moment your project looks like it thinks it sits above them, it's already over. You just find out later 2. Trust comes first, not after you scale The Western instinct is raise, grow fast, apologize later. It doesn't translate here. You build the relationship, you earn face, you move quietly, and then you're allowed to grow. Walking in pitching fast-track visas and an RM500m expansion before anyone trusts you is the whole thing backwards 3. How you handle friction matters more than being right Going public, openly asking the PM for a "deal," hinting you'll take your community elsewhere if you're not wanted, that's all perhaps normal in western culture. Here it's the move that ends you. Threatening to leave isn't leverage. It's an insult. Things get sorted quietly, over relationships, not on your timeline 4. And respect the local lines. All of them Every country has things that aren't up for a founder's debate. You don't have to agree. You do have to remember you're in someone else's house, on their soil, under their rules Here's the part that stings You can vibe-code a product, arbitrage cheap tokens, and move a whole community overnight. You cannot arbitrage trust. It's slow, it's earned in person, and it's the one thing the move-fast playbook has no shortcut for The West optimizes for permissionless We run on permission Learn that before you land Not after they shut you down

KENYATAAN MEDIA PEMBATALAN LESEN PERNIAGAAN DAN ARAHAN PENGHENTIAN OPERASI NS0 MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. (NETWORK SCHOOL) DI FOREST CITY 1. Kerajaan Negeri Johor mengambil maklum dan menyokong sepenuhnya keputusan Mesyuarat Penuh Khas Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri (MBIP) untuk membatalkan lesen perniagaan serta mengarahkan semua aktiviti NS0 Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. 6. Sehubungan itu, Kerajaan Negeri menggesa Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia (JIM), Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) serta agensi keselamatan berkaitan meneruskan siasatan dan mengambil tindakan tegas sekiranya terdapat penyalahgunaan pasport kedua, salah nyata identiti, pelanggaran syarat kemasukan atau apa-apa kesalahan di bawah undang-undang Malaysia. 7. 11. Semua perkara diatas telah disembah maklum serta perkenan kepada Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong serta Duli Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Mahkota Ismail, Pemangku Sultan Johor. Sekian. ONN HAFIZ GHAZI Menteri Besar Johor 21 Julai 2026

Now that Kimi subscription is (temporarily) a scarce asset class on its own, can we talk about tokenizing existing subscriptions with NFTs and have them trade in open market? Will be pretty good use of NFTs and crypto x ai and proxy to supply/demand/price discovery for Kimi plans 👉👈
Kimi K3 has received far more love than we expected, and our GPUs are feeling it. Over the past 48 hours, demand has pushed close to the limits of our current capacity. To protect the experience of existing subscribers, we're temporarily pausing new subscriptions and prioritizing compute for current members. Existing subscribed users are not affected. We're adding capacity as fast as we can and will reopen new subscription spots in batches. Going forward, we'll also split membership into two more focused plans: Kimi Membership for Kimi Web, App, and Work; and Kimi Code Membership for coding workflows. This will help us match compute more precisely and keep the experience stable. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

The Network School (@ns) drama is all over the Internet What's really happening? I'm Malaysian & Irish ~ born and raised in London. Recently moved back to 🇲🇾 for good. My plan? To help build Malaysia's AI Builders Hub (@KrackedDevs) ~ upskilling our people, pulling Malaysian builders together, and pushing for Malaysian-made tech products. Turning Malaysians from consumers into producers. Here's a thread - a simple breakdown of the NS Drama, from my humble perspective 👇

Competitive markets leave no room for a sub-par product. We knew from day one we couldn't win by taking shortcuts or moving at everyone else's speed. So we built Hypernova end to end, kept the feedback loop tight and shipped relentlessly. Still in closed alpha. More coming.
The Hypernova Terminal. Built in-house, end to end. → Advanced TradingView charting. → Pro order types including Scale and TWAP. → Full desktop and mobile terminal. → Trade crypto, equities, commodities and FX. 100% uptime in closed alpha. Shipping weekly.
