A shock. And a call to action. The American people have spoken and @realDonaldTrump will almost certainly return to the @WhiteHouse. We've been here before, so we have a taste of what will happen now.
In the next four years we hope that President Trump chooses the path of cooperation, not conflict, with the US’s closest partners and friends. Just as in 2016 to 2020, 🇪🇺 and 🇺🇸 businesses and citizens will continue to be the bridge between our continents.
It is in our mutual interest to stay one step ahead - together - on dual use and critical technologies like #AI and #cyber. We should create a new 'Critical and Dual Use Technology Council' and win this race this together.
I'm sure there will be much reflection in Europe in the days and weeks ahead, but one thing I know for sure: the transatlantic digital business community at @DIGITALEUROPE stands united, and our cooperation will be crucial in the years ahead.
