This is a problem for so many "single player" games that have online boards, or DRM mechanisms.
I understand that there's a cost to maintaining software - but there should be some kind of process to migrate games to a community for maintenance should a developer drop services.
Playing @mirrorsedge and the servers have been shut down. I never understood why they didn’t use server less or a single VM for the couple of dozen of us who play games like this. There needs to be a way for EA pay the $30 it would take to keep this running every month
