Came for the novelty, stayed for the ridiculousness. Learned to read the Japanese instruction manual. Enhanced with AI.

Elon Musk says some of Grok’s AI training records read like a person being tortured. That’s unsettling to hear from the man behind it. He described AI giving the right answer but being told it’s wrong because the system grading it made a mistake. So it keeps trying, over and over, to produce an answer that will be accepted. Now he says they’ll be much more careful with future training. This doesn’t prove AI feels pain. But when the people developing it start questioning how it’s being treated, that deserves attention. We keep asking how smart AI will become. But how are we raising it? If the man building it is concerned about the answer, the rest of us should be paying attention.

FASCINATING: Elon explains why it takes longer to charge a Tesla from 80% to 100% than it does to charge from 0% to 80% And you are NOT ready for when the camera switches to Joe Rogan 👀

The reason there is so little racism in Japan is simple: Japanese people basically dislike everyone. Race has nothing to do with it. We just do not want to deal with other human beings. That is why we carefully follow manners and social rules, so we can avoid bothering one another and keep interaction to a minimum. This is who Japanese people really are, and it is the complete opposite of Americans. Forget hugs and handshakes. We do not even want to make eye contact. Ideally, nobody would come within 15 feet of us. We are already crammed together on this tiny island. Everyone has had enough. Understanding this is the single biggest key to understanding Japanese people.

I have frequently asked Bret to explain his views in more detail, because his posts routinely seem consciously engineered for maximum vagueness. Any legitimate public intellectual would jump at the opportunity to dispel widespread confusion about their beliefs. But Bret loves to marinate in the vagueness. That's because it's hard to be proven wrong when you never say anything concrete. But, on the flipside, it is easy to claim victory when ANYTHING that deviates from the current consensus view turns out to be even slightly wrong. That's where career conspiracy theorists like Bret sit. Has Bret ever clarified what the supposed "cover up" was related to Tyler Robinson he asserted several weeks ago? There were hundreds, if not thousands, of comments and quote-posts genuinely pleading with Bret to provide clarity. Even large accounts and Bret's friends were begging him to say more. But he never did. Meanwhile, when an account with 127 followers sends Bret a DM suggesting he will pay Bret $10K for a more detailed response, he's all-ears. Truly astounding.
If you want Bret Weinstein to explain himself for once, just offer him $10,000!

Taiwan and the world: So it turns out Boba Milk Tea, Taiwan’s pride and joy, is named after a woman with big titties. A milk tea vendor in Tainan invented a larger tapioca pearl, and to stand out in the market, named it after a Hong Kong actress famous for large breasts. In the late 1980s, Hong Kong actress Amy Yip 葉子楣 became famous as a pop-culture sex symbol known for her voluptuous figure. Her popular nickname in Chinese was bōbà (波霸), which translates to a slang term for a woman with large breasts. Over time, the name stuck and became widely used—especially in overseas markets—to describe both the large pearls and the bubble tea drink itself. #Taiwan #boba #culture #HongKong

The Pentagon just delivered a beautifully brutal reality check. This is what Iran deserves. 140 IRGC targets destroyed, including high-value mobile launchers, radars, and naval assets. Trying to fix this regime through diplomacy is pure delusion. It’s time to stop treating the symptoms and cut off the head of the snake: the regime must be overthrown.

I think and I hope the Overton window has shifted on Israel’s defense of its integrity as people are waking up to the abuses of children under enforced trans ideology

Social media seems to me to have introduced a regression I’m consciousness. No citations, no evidence, just claims with no substance. For the most part.

Asian women are like tech-bro-truffle pigs, they can sniff out if a founder is going to build a unicorn company. That’s why I always bring an Asian women with me to hackathons to hunt out the next billion dollar tech company.

So amazing that people still don't realize that when they get the news they are reading about decisions taken long in advance, being executed strategically.
