Kick return to the 50 yard line.
Three and out, and you didn’t gain any yardage.
Not looking good for this season.

Lane Johnson is a special player, but more importantly a special person! I love him like a brother!
For the past decade, Lane has been the best Right tackle in the NFL. His athleticism, technique, strength, and size, combined to make him a player few could get around. His pass set and movements looked more like an art than someone who punched people for a living. It was a pure joy to watch him play for all these years, but even more so, it was a pure joy to be his friend. Lane could make me laugh, cry, and smile all in a matter of hours. In the meeting room cracking jokes, in his car listening to country music lyrics, at the cafeteria talking about life, I cherish the memories, they give me so much joy. Congratulations on retirement, I loved ever second of watching you play, and am proud that I got to share the field with you @LaneJohnson65

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE…
The average US 30-year fixed mortgage rate just hit 7.58% today, per Mortgage News Daily.
At that rate, a new $500,000 mortgage costs roughly $3,524/month BEFORE property taxes and insurance.
At 3%, the same 30-year loan would cost $2,108/month.
That’s almost $17,000 EXTRA every year to borrow the exact same amount.
How the fuck is a normal family supposed to afford this?

My socialist mayor froze rents.
Don’t politicians ever learn?
St Paul, Minnesota tried that.
Here’s what happened:
UPDATE: Rent Control Fails Again, Politicians Learn Nothing
A few years ago, St Paul, Minnesota passed the strictest rent control in the country. Politicians promised it would "end profiteering." Activists cheered. Here's what really happened.
The average American 401k balance at retirement is around $250,000.
At the standard 4% withdrawal rate, that's $10,000 a year.
Ten thousand dollars. For a full year of being alive.
Add the average Social Security check and you're at roughly $32,000 annually.
Medicare doesn't cover dental, vision, hearing aids, or long term care. One hip replacement or two years in assisted living erases the entire 401k.
40 years of contributions.
40 years of choosing the index fund, riding out every crash, never touching it.
For a balance that one medical event can wipe out completely.
And the pension your parents had, the one that paid until the day they died no matter what happened, was traded away for this in the 1980s and nobody asked you.
That should bother everyone regardless of who you voted for.
