This is nuts! So we're all guinea pigs here. They destroyed our healthcare system and then diverted resources to private clinics. Your grandfather has died. Your mother has lost his smile and is confused. Your son committed suicide. BECAUSE @AdrianaLaGrange had an idea. AND this is her excuse. A library isn’t a privilege reserved for people with homes.
It’s PUBLIC.
If someone experiencing homelessness walks into a library to get warm, use the internet, read, charge their phone, use the washroom, or simply sit somewhere safe, and they’re not bothering anyone leave them alone.
We’ve eliminated so many places where people can exist without spending money, libraries should remain one of them.
You don’t lose your right to public spaces because you lost your housing.
Homelessness is not a crime, poverty is not a crime, and simply existing shouldn’t be one either!

Yep- 2026. Alberta’s regulator says Suncor’s plan to release oilsands tailings into the Athabasca needs no environmental review. Downstream, an Indigenous community is burying its dead. Fort Chipewyan’s three Nations say enough.

Just so you know:
If someone has a chronic illness, but they carefully manage it so that you can see no signs of the chronic illness, they still have a chronic illness.

Danielle Smith’s Bill 11 is becoming reality. The wealthy can pay for faster surgery leaving those who can’t pay potentially die while waiting. My fear: a drained public system where everyone else waits and some die waiting.
Health care should depend on NEED, not wealth.
Alberta, vote her out. Ontario, Doug Ford is doing the same. we’re immune.

It absolutely dumbfounds me that this vulnerable human being was denied AISH. Like, what person said no? Honestly, there should be an investigation. I see a lot of cutbacks and denying people access to benefits with the current @YourAlberta and our ideological zealot @ABDanielleSmith Premier. #abpoli

Working thread of published research on COVID 19. Every claim links to a real study. Published, peer-reviewed research from journals like Nature, The Lancet, BMJ, and Nature Medicine. Not speculation, this is what the mainstream science says. Please take it seriously.

The failure of this government is absolutely breathtaking.
Go to the instagram.
This young man and his family deserve all of the supports.
Nathan Neudorf needs to fix this.
No just for Ben, but for all disabled Albertans.

Thomas Lukaszuk: "President Trump and the US administration has weaponized this negotiation, and now they're infringing on our sovereignty. They're questioning our border. They're renaming our interior lakes in Canada. This is unconventional warfare, and this is not the time to have referenda within Canada on the division of Canada."

Oh so I guess The National Energy Program was a good idea after all!
CONS fucking re-writing or ignoring that they were the ones who shut that down.
Canada would be a super power today if NOT for the CONSERVATIVES.
All they do is LIE.
COLUMN: Trudeau’s decade of failed climate policies left us captives to the U.S. oil market
Had the Trudeau Liberals spent 10 years building up Canada’s oil pipeline and infrastructure, instead of impeding it, we'd be a major force in global markets today.

The most annoying thing about being human right now is knowing we already have the intelligence and resources to end world hunger, fight climate change, and cure cancer, but greed and billionaires keep millions suffering instead. The wasted human potential is heartbreaking.

This American knows more about Alberta than plenty of Albertans.
And he just gave Danielle Smith the dressing-down she so completely deserves.
Danielle Smith is the weakest link.
She needs to go. She's done more than enough damage already.

The first time I watched Return of the Jedi, I wondered how we were supposed to believe that a gelatinous slimy mound of evil who could barely move around and wholly depended on sycophants to cater to his every whim could have possibly amassed such a fortune that he would inspire fear and be running things.
I get it now.

You REDUCE crime by eliminating POVERTY. The reason so called nice neighborhoods have lower crime rates is because people’s basic needs are being met. It is not because of police, alarm systems, or neighborhood associations. Poverty creates crime.

The racists in the Tennessee State House tried everything they could to stop this man.
They expelled him. And the voters sent him right back.
Then they redrew his district.
Now, voters have chosen him as their Democratic nominee for Congress. Congratulations Justin Pearson!
