It takes close to half an hour to meander on down from the heights of the Hollywood Bowl and finally reach the Power House.
It takes another twenty minutes to get a Bombay+Tonic or two.
Is it worth it ?
Maybe? Yes, probably. It depends on your definition of “worth”.

Heidi and I were lucky enough to catch Dolly Parton fifteen years ago at the Bowl.
She played saxophone, she played fiddle, she played guitar.
It was a packed house and Dolly sang her heart out.
She absolutely crushed it.
All the hits. Witty banter.
The best!!
No exaggeration. It was truly hotter than the surface of the Sun yesterday at Just Like Heaven in Pasadena!
We caught T.V. Girl, LCD Soundsystem (2nd photo), Chromeo and The Strokes. Seven hours on our ancient feet!
Colorful crowd, excellent music.
But holy heck was it warm.
A busy dizzy week of music for us.
We’re semiprofessionals when it comes to avoiding the grind of the salt mine. However we’re old.
