if you're struggling to leave twitter like i was, i highly recommend adjusting the appearance settings to make it as ugly as possible and making your profile pic look bad. it's done wonders to get me to stop using this place and use bluesky instead

i get some horrendous buzz in my audio gear when the heater or air conditioners in this house turn on, and overall the power here is really dirty. i want to get a power conditioner, but i wonder if it's even worth it with signals this strong. anyone got thoughts?

my understanding is that power conditioners will help a tiny bit but not nearly enough for something like this, which would require actually rewiring the house, which of course is out of the question as we're renting
