Feels like I’m back to school or still in school, but the thing is that by second week of March, I should have worked on 100 people. Pls RT, refer, and send DM if you want your teeth to go from this to that! Note: it’s not FREE but totally worth it! Treat ur Teeth 🦷

You can do this and you know you have the capacity. Look at the model @winexviv used with SE education intervention and the support came through. You can ask Alex. I know he is open with anything that has to do SE self awareness.
Imagine this. A group of Igbo people, funds a media startup. This media startup understands the power of media, particularly its power to set agendas, shape conversations and influence how people and societies are perceived This one deliberately focuses on telling Igbo stories

Imagine having an institution with the resources and distribution power to tell these stories to the world, consistently and professionally. Because this cannot be a passion project that runs out of money after six months.

It must be deliberately built, properly funded and structured to outlive its founders. Anyway, just imagine that for a minute. And we as Ndi Igbo must start thinking about narrative power as something worth investing in. But, Imagine go di ya! 🤭

Those who also receive money from brands must make good account of it by ensuring the brands get value for their money and not close its doors to other event organizers because of some money mongers who promise the world and deliver nothing 🥂
Ndị Igbo, By this time next year, we’d want multinationals and international brands to be here, sponsoring events, hosting their own events and actively investing in our region. This is how we MUST make that happen! Start documenting the activities happening here.

Numbers are good but is not enough, the conversion of these numbers to real tangible benefits, sales etc. If 3k people are turning up, how many can afford us, or can buy from us. In the current clime, most brands prefer to see what the effect of these numbers has on their KPI.

How many flights are flying in? How many event tickets are being sold? How many people are arriving through road transport? How many hotel rooms and shortlets are being booked? What’s happening in our restaurants? What is the increase in sales for businesses around these events?

Lest I forget, we must also show the number of TICKETS SOLD, not the bunch shared through GIVEAWAYS. The economics matter as well. They must all align.

something tangible to present. That thing they’re looking for in Sokoto, let them come to the Southeast and find it here! But you must be INTENTIONAL about documenting and presenting DATA. Numbers don’t lie. Data harvesters, it’s time!

It’s not enough to keep asking why international brands aren’t coming here. Why not show them what they’re sleeping on? Stop talking about the potential. DOCUMENT THE OPPORTUNITY. MAKE THE CASE. SHOW THEM THE NUMBERS And this MUST be done from here, not by OUTSIDERS for here.
