Tarek’s Take: Was USC football’s character under Lincoln Riley revealed after Desman Stephens’ late hit on Oregon QB Dante Moore?
My thoughts on the aftermath, which included Riley’s swing and miss at the postgame press conference.

Creighton volleyball head coach Brian Rosen says the sport of volleyball has grown too much for NCAA tournament games to be on ESPN+.
“[NCAA volleyball tournament games] should all be on TV, no different than March Madness.”

One leader. One play. One moment.
That’s the power of one, and it’s how teams, cultures, and seasons are built.

WISDOM.
There was once a man who carried a cracked lantern. Each night he walked through town with it, and because the glass was broken, it cast a crooked light. He grumbled that the streets were dangerous, that people avoided him, that shadows followed him everywhere he went.
But the truth was simple… it wasn’t the streets. It wasn’t the people. It wasn’t even the shadows. It was the light he carried. The broken lantern made everything around him look darker, meaner, and more threatening than it really was.
A negative attitude works the same way.
When your spirit is cracked by bitterness or stress, your light bends. You see problems where there are none, enemies where there are friends, and obstacles where there are open doors. And because you see the world that way, you act that way. Others react in kind, and the cycle continues.
The man never realized that the shadows weren’t chasing him.. he was casting them.
So it is with us: when we choose gratitude, patience, and faith, our lantern shines clear.
The path doesn’t change..but how we walk it does.

Wow! Watch this conformity experiment. Actors stand on a beep, pressuring an unwitting woman to follow. Alone, she continues, then influences newcomers. This shows how senseless rules spread like viruses. Think critically, don't be a sheep.
How can anyone hate him? He was a pastor

Utah Gov. Cox on the response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk:
"There was no rioting. There was no looting. There were no cars set on fire. There was no violence."
"There were vigils and prayers. And people coming together to share the humanity. And that, ladies and gentlemen, I believe is the answer to this."
"We can return violence with violence. We can return hate with hate. And that's the problem with political violence is it metastasizes."
"We can always point the finger at the other side. And at some point, we have to find an off-ramp or it's going to get much, much worse."

Failure is part of the process, not separate from it.
Successful people are the ones who know how to handle adversity without letting it stop their progress.
