Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The email screenshots are inconsistent with legitimate HR communications: they claim to be from the employer's HR while threatening "notification to your employer" and were sent to a personal Yahoo address rather than a work email.

Wife & I are both full time WFH. 7 years for me. 6 for her.
I could argue it’s been the #1 blessing for our family.
We used to have ~75 min & ~60 min commutes, each way, respectively. DC metro.
That’s 2-3 hrs back per day w/ our kids.
I will likely never trade that in.
