I have a wonderful relationship with accountability unlike most adults bc my parents weren’t afraid to let me SIT IN & experience the discomfort of being wrong or making bad decisions. I was taught that my intentions didn’t erase my impact, my “feelings” didn’t absolve me of responsibility, & being upset about a consequence didn’t mean the consequence was unfair. Truly invaluable.
