Petrol prices happily jump 10-15p when there’s a war or some other bollocks!
But soon as shits ok, prices come down 2p if we are lucky!
Constantly being shafted in this country!

The prices went up during Covid and never came back down. They are price gouging the fuck out of us.

Remember when Rage against the Machine humiliated Simon Cowell? “KILLING IN THE NAME” was the UK’s Christmas #1 chart topping song, defeating Cowell‘s X-factor pop slop. The celebratory victory concert at Finsbury Park for approx 90,000 fans (16 years ago this week) was both free and ferocious!
I told my daughter she had to pay $400 a month to live at home after college. She thought I was being hard on her. Paid it every month without complaint. Never missed once.
Two years later she moved out. I handed her an envelope. $9,600. Every dollar she ever paid me. Plus a little extra.
She cried. I told her that was her security deposit, first month, and emergency fund.
She thought I was punishing her. I was preparing her.
She’s a very happy young woman.

Michael Douglas asking, “I am the bad guy?”
hits always hard.
In Falling Down (1993), he plays a man who snaps under the weight of everyday injustice
It raises a haunting idea.
Sometimes there isn’t villain, just another person lost in the game of life.

If the white stripes and primus had a kid and that kid grew up on lot in shakedown. By far my new favorite 2 piece

HR is the only department that gets a free pass for being completely useless.
They produce zero revenue, kill morale with endless policies, protect the company NOT you, and somehow still get invited to every meeting like they're essential.
Remove 90% of HR tomorrow and the business would run smoother, faster, and happier.
Change my mind. 🔥

About time the 0.4% stat has been called out as not being reflective of those that gamble.

£5 for a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk, £8 for a jar of Nescafe, £12 for a bottle of olive oil. And they have the nerve to describe £12.21 an hour as 'the national living wage'.
