i cannot say enough good things about the mountaintop gas station sandwich, the mountaintop beer, the mountaintop cheese wedge, or the mountaintop uncrustable
you need to be consuming more mountaintop chow as soon as possible

if you work from home and have the yard space, I can't recommend a backyard office enough. Built mine 3 years ago for under $20k all-in. best work-life upgrade I've ever made.

I love to cuss. Sorry. And I have a very large and expansive vocabulary but I will still choose to use cuss words. I don’t really care.

we are readers, ofc we have only two moods―
1. we'll read literally anything
2. none of these 130 books on my TBR list feel right. i just have NOTHING to read!

No. You are perfectly capable of reading two and a half books per month, and if you’re not able to purchase books you can easily get them from the library. What’s truly anti-intellectual is trying to discourage people from reading at a time when millions aren’t reading at all.

Christmas Eve.
My kids are home.
Not "kids" anymore. They're adults with their own lives, their own apartments, their own problems I can't fix.
But for the next few weeks, they're here.
Arguing about what movie to watch. Raiding the fridge. Taking over the living room like they never left.
And I'm trying to soak in every second of it.
Because I know this doesn't last forever.
Eventually they'll pack up and head back to their lives. The house will get quiet again.
But right now, tonight, I get to be their dad in the same house where I taught them to ride bikes and helped with homework and worried if I was doing any of it right.
Here's what I've learned after years of helping people plan their retirement:
You can't get this back.
You can recover from a bad investment.
You can adjust your withdrawal rate.
You can always make more money.
But you can't get back the Christmas Eve when your kids came home.
So tonight, I'm not checking my phone.
I'm not thinking about work.
I'm just here.
With my kids. Under my roof. For a few more weeks.
Merry Christmas Eve.
Whatever you're doing tonight, be all the way there.
Thrilled to share that I’ll be attending AHA US Nationals for the very first time this year!! Feeling extra grateful for this good boy, my trainers & farm friends, & my family!!🤍🇺🇸🌹
Do y’all ever sit in your horses stall with them? While not the safest practice, it can certainly be therapeutic…
98%Yes, so peaceful
2%No, too dangerous

Please keep sharing. This is one of the best people I've ever met and I'm so lucky to have him in my life. He ran into this fire to save the horses and is hospitalized with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. This will help him and his wife as he recovers
