Skilled driving relies on a sense, much like an instinct. That sense comes from years of hands-on practice and experience. And this very experience is what a new learner lacks the most.
A good driving instructor should put himself in a learner’s shoes, teaching practical techniques or tricks instead of telling a learner to drive like him. Because you drive with a sense which is absent in a learner’s mind.
