As a web developer, the Document Object Model (DOM) is one of the most important concepts worth understanding.
In this article @didicodes explains the DOM, it’s tree-like structure, and how to target & manipulate the DOM with JavaScript.

Finished the DOM Cardio from @wesbos and laughing because I kept using createRange() and createContextualFragment() instead of simply using innerHTML and insertAdjacentHTML methods 🙃 But it's all working anyway! #100DaysofCode
#100DaysOfCode Finished the first module of @DevSimplified's CSS Course, and really like the way each tidbit is taught and explained. Though I'm still a bit hazy on rem vs em, but I'll read up on that more in a bit. First, to dive back into JS.
#100DaysOfCode Spent this weekend starting the first section of @DevSimplified's CSS course and really enjoying it so far!

CSS is full of nuances that can be pretty confusing. Developers have had to come up with many methods for building out layouts, and as the language evolves we have better solutions. These are some of my favorites!

Writing this post was kind of scary for me because it feels very personal and vulnerable. But I know a lot of people, junior & otherwise, are having similar feelings so I wanted to share it. Its a weird time, and it's ok not to be your best self right now.

#100DaysOfCode 'document' returns a reference to the document contained in the window:
#100DaysOfCode 'navigator' contains information about the browser, and includes device information as well (i.e. webcam, audio access, battery level, GPS coordinates, etc.)
Day 1: Reviewing JavaScript (variables, types, and functions). I read this article on scoping and hoisting of var, let, and const by @freeCodeCamp. I'll share my notes in a separate tweet. #100DaysOfCode
