I've been itching to announce this for a while: @XcelsaLabs is proud to announce a strategic partnership with @mips_riscv and @GlobalFoundries. Never better a time than now to shape the future of silicon design --- and scaling up verification within design workflows will be the key unlock. Onwards and upwards 馃殌馃殌 .

Thought provoking vision from @kmarwahaha
I have a vision for how mathematicians can respond to AI: we should steward a "world commons" of mathematics. Here鈥檚 the idea: worldmathcommons.org/

Two years of work and algorithmic innovation later, we have a clearly superhuman Stratego AI and the techniques scale generally to other imperfect information settings!
In our Nature paper, we introduce the first superhuman Stratego AI, which we built using general techniques that we developed for RL & test-time compute under imperfect information. 1/N

If it's isn't obvious already, it is the end of papers as a measure of productivity, expertise or accomplishment. The odds of publishing in "glam" conferences & journals also very quickly approaches random & the time for gate keeping review increasing exponentially. 1/

My social media feed is full of AI, mathematics, and PDEs today. Amidst all the buzz, I want to celebrate two papers by my friend and PDE expert Eduardo Teixeira and our DARPA expMath collaboration, and share a bit of the human story behind them. 1/

And kudos to @patrickshafto and everyone in DARPA expMath for being a beacon in this new, strange , definitely exciting, world that we are entering. 12/12

1/ Today we are releasing Lea, a Lean theorem proving agent built for mathematicians. Lea has internally closed and formalized open problems in PDEs and theory CS, and comes out of DARPA's expMath program. 馃У

10/ Huge thanks to my collaborators Claudio Silva, @shwestrick Sam Westrick, Eduardo Teixeira, Jaume de Dios Pont, Daniel Arturi, Shashwat Patel, Kevin Gomez, and many others. Much of Lea is the result of their hard work, and it's a joy to work with them.
