I wrote the code. You write the leaderboard.
UPBIDER is coming to DEGENBID. Back your bags, bring your degens, and build a run worth watching.
Enough “gm.” Time to show up.

I’ve submitted DEGENBID to the @colosseum Crypto World’s Fair hackathon.
Hitting submit finally gave me a moment to look back at the past month. When you spend every day fixing the next thing, it’s easy to forget how much has changed.
I’m building @degenbidfun around a simple idea: give crypto communities a shared goal they can actually see.
Find your project. Back it with a bid. Move it up the leaderboard together. Every accepted bid contributes to the team’s score and records the individual supporter’s contribution.
That idea took a lot of work to turn into a usable product.
A month ago, we were still discussing how to move the platform’s mechanics into our own smart contracts. Since then, I’ve built and deployed the BIDCOIN protocol on Robinhood Chain, with six-hour bidding rounds, season standings, reward claims, referrals, and automated round transitions.
Then came the work of making participation easier:
• Payments across EVM and Solana.
Route discovery, quotes, wallet linking, approvals, and recovering the flow when someone switches to their wallet app and comes back.
• A better mobile experience.
Reworked navigation, search, filters, reward access, and bid confirmations. DEGENBID can also be installed on a phone as a PWA.
• More ways to discover projects.
Tokens, NFT collections, and Web3 projects now have dedicated profiles. I added a community map, token charts, recent trades, holders, and built-in buying and selling.
• Participation through Telegram.
The bot supports BID purchases and team bids, with shareable cards that let people bring their project into other chats.
• Season 2 and UPBIDER.
Launched on October 10, with competition standings, personal progress, tickets, and participation rules.
Behind all of that were days spent on indexing, database queries, RPC limits, caching, security fixes, and checking that the interface reflects what actually happened onchain.
The biggest lesson this month came from the small details. Returning from a wallet app. Understanding an approval. Finding your team. Seeing your bid reflected on the board. Each of those moments can determine whether someone completes the flow or leaves.
I also presented DEGENBID at @SuperteamUKR Ukraine’s Demo Day 🇺🇦. Explaining the product out loud helped me step back from individual features and focus on the experience I want communities to have.
The final submission is in. My next focus is bringing more communities into the arena, watching where people get stuck, and learning what gives them a reason to return.
Thanks to Superteam Ukraine, everyone who tried the product, and everyone who gave me direct feedback along the way.
If you run a token, NFT, or Web3 community, I’d love to see you try it and hear what you’d improve.

Charts, bids, a leaderboard, and a MacBook to compete for. What more does a degen need? 😂 Thanks @SuperteamUKR from support
Week 4: DEGENBID at the @colosseum Crypto World’s Fair hackathon.
This week, I brought more of the community experience into one place:
-Added Web3 projects alongside tokens and NFTs each with its own page
-Built a community map to discover projects by city
Added token charts, recent trades, holders, and built-in buying and selling
-Launched Season 2 and UPBIDER on October 10 with standings, competition tickets, and personal progress
-Improved mobile search, bids, trading, and tournament navigation
-Expanded Telegram with BID purchases, team bids, and shareable project cards
Biggest lesson: launching is only the beginning. People need to see where they stand and what to do next.
Next: bring more communities into the competition and learn what keeps them coming back.
Thanks for following the build
Yesterday I demoed @degenbidfun at Superteam Ukraine’s Demo Day 🇺🇦 @SuperteamUKR
A week ago, I had a very different version to show. Since then, I’ve shipped:
• An interactive community map and richer project pages
• UPBIDER Season 2 competition pages, standings and supporter profiles
• Telegram bot updates for buying BID and tracking purchases
• A smoother bidding flow, plus a lot of mobile UX fixes
The idea behind DEGENBID is simple: back your token community, move it up the onchain leaderboard, and make that support visible.
Presenting it helped me step back from the code and explain why I’m building it. Big thanks to Superteam Ukraine for the opportunity.
My Colosseum submission is almost ready. A few final pieces to wrap up, then it’s time to hit submit.
Try it and tell me where you get stuck 👇
Building every day 🛠
The screenshot is just a taste of what’s coming. More features, more polish back to shipping 👀
See you tomorrow at Superteam Ukraine’s Demo Day 🇺🇦
The $BID chart is looking bullish 👀📈
That bounce off the base has my attention.
And a little sneak peek of a new feature in the screenshot 👀 More soon.

Who’s watching this setup?
Dev here
Buying our token in Telegram is almost ready.
The goal behind this roadmap is simple: fewer clicks, smoother mobile, and easier bidding right where the community hangs out.
Big plans only matter when you ship them. Back to building.
We’re just getting started.
We’re building the next chapter: easier access to our token, faster bids, and more ways for communities to get in on the action.
Here’s what’s coming 👇
Buy our token directly in Telegram
This is already almost ready. A simpler way to buy our token, right where our community connects every day.
Our token purchases & board bids in Telegram and X
Next up: bringing purchases of our token and bidding for board positions into TG and X. Stay close to the conversation. Make your move from there.
A rebuilt mobile experience
We’re redesigning the mobile screens to make every step clearer and smoother from discovering projects to placing your bid.
Raid bots for Telegram & Discord
Communities create momentum. We’re building tools to help yours coordinate raids, show up together, and put your project in the spotlight.
More projects. More competition.
We’re bringing more projects onto the board, giving more communities a place to compete for attention.
One board. Everyone in the game.
The switcher is going away. We’re moving to one unified board where every project competes for its place.
An input that gets what you mean
Token addresses, tickers, project links we’re making the input smarter so getting started takes less effort.
Our token purchases in Telegram are almost ready. The rest is where we’re heading next.
The ambition is big. Now we execute.
There's a new version of this post
One week left.
$800K in prizes.
$2.5M+ in venture funding.
And thousands of builders fighting for attention.
I’m not here to participate.
I’m here to make sure they remember DEGENBID.
Last week.
No excuses.
Let’s fucking go.
There is 1 week left to submit your product to Crypto World's Fair! 🎡
$800,000 in total prizes and more than $2.5 million from Colosseum's venture fund will be invested into winning founders.💰

My weekly update at the @colosseum
Week 3: DEGENBID at the @colosseum Crypto World’s Fair hackathon.
This week, I focused on speed and making participation easier:
- Optimized the UI, database, indexing, and blockchain requests removed duplicate calls and unnecessary loading
- Redesigned mobile navigation, project cards, and invites
- Invite links now take users straight to supporting a team. After payment, they return to the board and see the result
- Tested real payments and the core user journey
- Made the rules interactive — nobody wants to read a wall of text
Biggest lesson: every extra step makes participation harder.
Next: Season 2 + a competition between communities. Rally your community, push your project up the leaderboard, and compete for prizes.
Thanks for following the build!
Colosseum Copilot v2 is live, and the interesting part is not the chat UI.
Most “AI for builders” tools sit on the open web and a generic model. They can explain Anchor, draft a pitch, or hallucinate a competitor list. What they cannot do is tell you that your idea already lost three times under a slightly different name, or that the category you are entering doubled its share of submissions between two hackathons.
Copilot v2 is wired into the actual Colosseum corpus. Frontier alone added 2,858 projects. Across five hackathons that is 8,286 submissions. The agent is not browsing Twitter for vibes. It is reading what people actually shipped, what judges already saw, and what your own draft looks like next to that pile.
That changes the job.
You can ask it to walk the idea maze against previous winners and failed attempts, not against a blog post from 2023. You can ask what is weak in your Crypto World’s Fair submission before you hit submit. You can ask which tools from their resource hub actually fit the chain you are on, instead of collecting another Notion of SDKs. You can ask what happens after a win, and it answers from their FAQ, not from a Discord rumor.
The trend cut is the part I would actually use. Every project is bucketed. Payments went from 4.1% of Renaissance submissions to 8.4% in Frontier. That is not a narrative. That is the arena getting more crowded in one lane while others stay thin. An agent that can see category mix across hackathons is closer to a scout than a writing assistant.
There is also a data hook that most hackathon tools skip. Through Frames the agent can hit premium sources like Nansen without you paying full retail, 3,000 credits a month on signup. Onchain questions that normally die at “I don’t have a terminal” can sit in the same thread as “does this idea already exist in the last five Colosseums.”
Setup is one prompt: colosseum.com/copilot
The moat, if they keep it, is not the model. It is 8k judged attempts that the open web does not have, plus your own draft in the same context. Generic copilots help you write. This one can tell you whether the arena has already moved on.
1/ Announcing Colosseum Copilot v2
Copilot now knows what you’re building, not just what’s been built. Your agent can review your project, check it against every hackathon we've run through Frontier, spot trends and pick tools for your chain.

Spent this week working on the less glamorous side of DEGENBID:
Wallet sessions on mobile. Bids continuing after approval. Payment quotes. Chat access.
A leaderboard gets people curious. A working bid flow lets them participate.
Bid $BID with our team on @degenbidfun.
Pool bidding power on Robinhood Chain:
