I've had Bliztkrieg! forever, but only now pulled it from shelf of shame and played with @darinkrauss at the #boardgames night @twoassbrewing (Sazzy was the #beer of choice :) )
Auburn Journal did a nice post on @twoassbrewing opening in Downtown: goldcountrymedia.com/news/31…
Getting close to complete on major construction items, now working on brewhouse final setup work and finish work in the taproom area
Since we were pouring new floors over at the brewery, we snuck in a little time capsule to mark the moment. twoassbrewing.co/2023/10/10/… #brewerylife

Had a chance to review Python for Geeks recently (amzn.to/3jz8Wfj) by Muhammad Asif and published by @PacktPub. Decent #Python combo of a tutorial refresher and some examples of how to do things like simple web/microservice/serverless dev. #webdev #backend
Continuing to work through my stack of #programming books and doing some reviews. Had a chance to look at "Git for Programmers" amzn.to/3gi1pjF It may be helpful to folks getting up to speed with #git or wanting a quick refresh on some common more advanced techniques
Continuing to write up some reviews for misc #programming books I am looking at. Recent interest in my current team on #golang lead me to look at "Building Distributed Applications in Gin". amzn.to/3itCjQ5 I've been a user of gorilla/mux, but not gin, so was useful intro
Vacation game for this summer is platoon commander deluxe: the battle for Kursk. Easy and fun. #wargaming Two games up on my son which never happens 😀. @MarkHoltWalker nice system. – at California, USA
Wrote a quick review for @jeremyevans0 new book "Polished Ruby Programming" up on Amazon. Definitely of interest to folks moving from basic #ruby fluency to understanding things a bit more. I can hear Jeremy when reading this as if in a talk. amzn.to/3i0RdvQ? #programming
A book I helped as a technical reviewer was published recently: bit.ly/3e7OjUG I'd recommend it for folks wanting to move beyond the basics into areas that are pretty useful in contemporary problems (search, classification, graphs, etc) #programming #Algorithms
Something satisfying about 'bubbles in the brewery'...might that also be a good band name? #brewery
