#DotCom Bubble vs #AI Bubble
How the AI boom is taking a smilar path of DOTCOM cycle but in a more measured and slower. But invariably history looks to repeat itself. #ChatGPT #Claude #NVDA #deepseekai

Starlink is crucial to fill the gap not compete. The density which is in order of magnitude never seen anywhere on earth will overwhelm the current capacity and prove ineffective. Best for being a backup for essential and niche services.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏
Open AI and Anthropic are in a race to outbid themselves as the torchbearer of AI Inference models. They want to be the next Amazon (Online Shopping) or Google (Search) or Apple (Devices) etc.
And this race is until they are listed on the stock market (IPO’s). Because, each wants to have the highest valuation possible and provide the maximum payout for their pre-IPO investors and key employees.
Nothing spreads faster than fear and to achieve this they are constantly whipping up the frenzy of their models achieving AGI.
AGI in its truest sense is when everyone is using the AI frontier models and vast majority of sources that humans refer to is generated by AI models. Because that is when the human knowledge transcends from the realm of self-learning to machine learning.
And to achieve this the first step is to make the best AI available to everyone and that requires computing power on the scale one has not even begun to imagine.
The biggest obstacle to achieving AGI is not the development of models but the ability to use those models by the large percentage of the population.

The logic in the point raised is absolutely correct but ground realities are completely different. Platform tickets are standard ticket format due to which a TTE will not know who is for which train. Hence the only check point is the ticket issued time mentioned. To overcome this the format should change to mention for which train they are seeking the ticket for and the entry and exit time should be mentioned.
A boy said he went to Kalyan railway station in Maharashtra to drop his family off for their train. The train was originally scheduled to leave at 12 noon, but later they were told it would arrive at 2 PM.
He had bought a platform ticket and waited with his family. However, the train kept getting delayed. Around 5 PM, when he was helping his family board the train and was about to leave, a TTE stopped him and asked for his platform ticket.
He showed the ticket, but the TTE told him that a platform ticket is valid only for 2 hours. Since more than 2 hours had passed, he was fined ₹500.
The boy then raised a simple question: if the train was delayed for several hours because of the railway, why should the passenger be held responsible for staying at the station?
He had purchased a valid platform ticket and was only there to drop his family.
If the delay was caused by the railway, shouldn’t there be some consideration for passengers and their families who are forced to wait longer?
It raises a genuine question about whether passengers should be fined when they remain at the station because of a railway delay.
Whether user data was accessed or not one would never know. But one thing is for sure, the models are built to constantly train themselves with user data and then come up with results which is then validated and approved by the model developers.
We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.
The phases of AI evolution
Phase 1: 2020 to 2030 - Beginning
Phase 2: 2030 to 2040 - Evolution
Phase 3: 2040 to 2050 - Competition
Phase 4: 2050 to 2060 - Domination
Don't ask whether it was written by AI or with the help of AI or without AI. Ask yourself whether it makes sense. Earlier we never asked if it was copied from wiki, quora, reddit etc. We reviewed and agreed or disagreed based on what was presented.
But do not make the mistake of asking AI whether what has been presented is correct or not because then you have made yourself replaceable.
AI creates Humans decide, atleast for now.
Either ways you loose, cause you lost it when you said with whom your argument was.
Astra helped me win an argument i had with my fianceé on whether glasses dry faster right-side-up or upside-down after dishwashing by simulating the physics of the water molecules and nearby air humidity
thank you @OpenAI ❤️🥹
The premium nature of a product or service is defined by how difficult it is to acquire more than by its intrinsic quality. True exclusivity relies on restriction: a product must be confined to select locations, or a service limited to a niche clientele. This artificial scarcity elevates perceived value among the general public, ultimately driving affluent consumers to desire it even more.
Nature has marked it's territory but it is we who keep pushing the line further. Need to respect the boundaries defined by the elements.
Anthropic pulling out of windsurf and Open AI doing the same with Cursor shows that corporations are getting tied up to these organizations. And once systems get deeply embedded with these models getting out is an even bigger challenge than getting in. And this is the single biggest reason why these models should be open sourced like how internet was when it started and has been. Internet has allowed many giants to rise like Google, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Uber etc. but the closed AI models will become a cartel and block the rise of everyone else.
We’re ending our partnership with Cursor following its acquisition by SpaceX. Under our proposal, Cursor’s direct access to our models would end on November 12.
We know that the people most affected by this decision are the developers who rely on OpenAI models in Cursor. We care about their experience in this transition and we’re ready to go above and beyond to support them.

I am writing with great hope that you are someone in your team takes notice of the delay in verifying and approving edu accounts even for a 20yr old k12 institution. It has been more than a month and stuck at start line. Case# 69310478 for reference.
3 Months and i have been hearing the same response. Can @GeminiApp not help here?

The whole environment sustainability thinking needs a reset
Our refrigerator just died... again. This is our second refrigerator in ten years. It was a Whirlpool, a "plain Jane" model with no bells, no whistles, and no fancy screens. We bought it for its simplicity, thinking it would be the one thing in our house that just worked.
It lasted five years and one month, exactly thirty days past the warranty.
The repairman’s verdict? A dead compressor. But the real diagnosis... it was Built to Break.
Under the guise of "green" regulations and "energy efficiency," we’ve traded tanks that lasted thirty years for plastic-heavy shells that barely last five.
We are forced to pay a premium for "high-efficiency" tech that saves ten cents a month on electricity, only to be told to throw the whole $1,500 + unit into a landfill when a single internal component fails.
It’s a racket. The government mandates the specs, the manufacturers cut the quality, and the consumer is left holding a bag of spoiled milk. We don’t own appliances anymore; we just lease them from the scrap yard.
Too good roasting.
Dear @ICC,
It is with a heavy heart that we now announce our unavailability to replace Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Regardless of whether they now withdraw, the short timescales ensure it is impossible for our squad to prepare in the professional manner necessary to compete effectively in this global cricketing spectacle. We are not like Scotland and able to turn up on a whim, with no kit sponsor.
Our players are from all walks of life and cannot simply drop their occupations to fly halfway around the world to experience temperatures only normally felt in Finnish saunas. Our captain, a professional baker, needs to attend to his oven, our ship captain needs to steer his vessel, and our bankers need to go bankrupt (again). This is the harsh reality of cricket at the amateur level of the game.
This news will be extremely disappointing to our fans. Despite being the most peaceful nation on Earth, we maintain an army of online followers, and are the world's 14th most followed national board on X. We were ready to give the Dutch the biggest shock they have experienced since William of Orange lost the Battle of Landen in 1693. And the Americans were looking forward to taking on Greenland, or so their orange-dyed leader thought.
Our loss is likely Uganda's gain. We wish them well. Their kits cannot be missed unless you have epilepsy, in which case they are probably best avoided.
The future is always ice, until it isn't.
Yours sincerely,
Icelandic Cricket Association
