I tried to kill PM, but @AnthropicAI is hiring more of them.
Why?
Because engineering is getting massive AI leverage and the PM capacity cannot catch up. Even with standard ratios (1 PM: ~5 engineers) it feels more like 1 PM to 20 engineers.
Interesting that the response is both a) hire more PMs (which says that PMs are at max capacity/leverage) and my more favorite tool -> b) turning engineers into PMs
This is my fave use case of @chatprd - I see so many teams deciding "anyone can cook" and using the app to make non PMs a little more product-minded...without the meetings.
What I really want to see though is what we can build to get those PMs the same 4-5x leverage that the engineers are getting. So far PMs are still
- managing stakeholders
- getting everyone to agree
- spending time with customers
- playing with the right solution via prototypes
Are these things that AI can eventually replace?
My bet is yes, but until then... apply for those anthropic jobs 😎

I have been working on PRDs lately, and I got thinking: how can I utilise AI in this?

I simply provided the context and requirements, and in minutes, a well structured PRD was delivered.

Here's a recap of what we shipped today:
• Improved the speed and token use of the Web Search tool
• Adjusted how very large inputs get stored in the agent’s filesystem for improved recall
• Attachments added via the ?files parameter are now cloned instead of used directly (requested by @chatprd)
• Fixed a layout shift when hovering over the upvote/downvote buttons in safari
• Improved the error message when an Enterprise user adds an integration they don’t have access to
• Improved the TailwindCSS v4 upgrade flow
• Fixed a bug causing some Restore actions to fail with a vague error
• Added an inline chat in the new VS Code editor

I used to grind until 2am trying to keep up
now:
- ship features 10x faster with Claude Code
- PM tasks handled by lennybot .com and @chatprd
- every meeting auto-transcribed and dumped in Notion using granola
- automate ops with N8N
now I use that saved time to:
- sleep more
- eat better
- exercise regularly
- meditate
the result? i’m more focused, healthier, and way more effective as a founder

Found @chatprd by @clairevo. Thought it looked awesome. Did a first look/unboxing video.
Built a PRD for a emotional analysis feature for when users watch a video tutorial and I want to figure out if they are bored or not.
Then used the @vercel v0 integration to build it!
A year ago, I launched @chatprd with three goals:
1. Build something useful for myself
2. Spend more time coding
3. Make a little pocket money
Today, she's 1 year old and the #1 AI copilot for product managers, with 250k chats + 25k users on the app.
