🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Virginia after police showed up at a mother’s home at 2 A.M. and TOWED HER CAR over a SH00TING she had NOTHING to do with... ...because a FLOCK CAM pointed them to the WRONG CAR!!! Now her car is a TOTAL LOSS and she MIGHT LOSE HER JOB!!!! Yes, you read that right, a Flock camera got it wrong, the cops took her car ANYWAY, and she’s the one paying for it. Her name is Rosalyn Crump, she’s a mom raising 3 boys in Richmond VA On July 29th, just before 2 in the morning, Richmond police officers showed up outside her home on Sussex Street. She was ASLEEP, but someone woke her up and told her police were outside and her car was being towed. Police say the Flock system had linked her 2012 Hyundai Elantra to a sh00ting near Gilpin Court and body camera footage shows the officers shining flashlights through her windows. At one point, one of them seemed to doubt they even had the right car. They noticed her KIDS’ CAR SEATS were buckled in the back, but they towed it anyway. Rosalyn came outside and told them flat out: “Y’all got the wrong car.” She told them she’d been at her mom’s house all day, came home at 4, and waited for her kids to get off the bus at 5. Nobody had driven her car. An officer decided her story didn’t match the Flock data and said on camera that she was, “definitely not telling the truth.” Minutes later, Seibert’s Towing hauled her car away. If you think that was insane... well, IT GETS WORSE. About FOUR DAYS later, she finally got a phone call. Her car had been released FOUR HOURS after they took it... because police had already found the person they were actually looking for. NOBODY FROM THE POLICE TOLD HER!!!!! When she went to get her car back, she found it DAMAGED from the tow. The towing company’s VP admitted fault in writing. Then the claim went to insurance, and the company said it could no longer settle with her directly. Her mechanic’s verdict: TOTAL LOSS. Richmond police now admit Flock cameras led them to the wrong vehicle. Meanwhile, Rosalyn has lost wages, can’t get to work on time, and is paying for a RENTAL CAR out of her own pocket just to get her boys where they need to go. She literally did nothing wrong and was home with her kids. THIS IS INSANE!!!!!!!!

🚨#BREAKING: One of North Carolina's oldest county fairs dating back to 1882 was forced to CLOSE EARLY after a "horde of brawling teens" began BEATING EACH OTHER and VANDALIZING PROPERTY... ...for nearly THREE HOURS!!!!! Nearly 50 "teens" were ejected from the fair, but the amount of unruly behavior overwhelmed the police so the fairgrounds were forced to close early to protect members of the public. After the fair was closed, the "teens" then went to a nearby business and TRASHED THE PLACE, causing yet another police response and forcing that business to close. WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?!!!!!!!!!

For Wake County specifically, WCPSS spent ~76% of all COVID-relief funds on salaries and benefits, including $49.7M on teacher pay and $120.5M for bonus pay (With No Retirement). #ncga #ncpol
Once again I am reminding you that Wake Co. Schools received nearly $450 million in Covid relief funds, much of which was supposed to be for HVAC repairs & upgrades. The district spent zero dollars on HVAC. #ncpol

Jeff Bezos says if Amazon ran like the New York school system, your package would take six weeks to arrive with the WRONG item inside. NYC spends $44,000 per student. At 20 students per teacher, that’s over $880,000 per classroom. But the teachers aren’t making anything close to that. So where’s the money going? BEZOS: “How much of that money do you think is trickling down to teachers? NOT MUCH.” This $44,000 per student figure is 30% MORE than Chicago, L.A., and Boston spend. And the kids aren’t getting better results. Nearly HALF of NYC 4th graders can’t even read at a basic level. By 8th grade, 77% aren’t proficient in math. Tax you more. Deliver worse outcomes. Make the bureaucrats nearly impossible to fire. And they have the gall to demand more of your money.

A 92-year-old North Carolina man got so bored 2 months into retirement that he applied to work at Chick-fil-A... ...his smile, kindness, and passion for Jesus became so contagious that when he got sick and missed 3 days of work, an ENTIRE TOWN began asking where he was. His name is Gilbert Martin. Everybody calls him "Mr. Gil." Mr. Gil is 92 years old, and works at the Chick-fil-A on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC. He spent decades working in the natural gas industry and when he retired, he greeted people at Sam's Club for 12 MORE years, until they eliminated his position. Most people would call that a sign to finally rest, but not Mr. Gil! Two months into retirement, he got bored... so he walked into Chick-fil-A and put in an application. He was 86 years old at the time. He's been there ever since. Not one or two shifts a week either. Monday through Friday. He says the full schedule gives him more chances to be there for people who need him. His official job is dining host. Clean tables. Clean floors. But Mr Gil doesn't see it that way... as he describes it, his real job is: "I get a lot of people that are coming in, just been to the doctor, and got bad news... I'm able to be an encourager; the Lord gave me that." A 92-year-old man who could be resting at home... chooses to stand in a dining room five days a week... so strangers on the worst day of their lives don't have to be alone. And Wilmington noticed. When Mr. Gil caught a cold and missed a couple of days, the owner said he was FLOODED with HUNDREDS of customers who were panicked about him. Mr. Gil has zero plans to retire. He says if you ever see him working, come say hi. "I don't know what 92 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great. Serving others has always brought me joy because I believe that a smile and a kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.” We need more of this!!!!!

HERE WE GO 🚨 AI powered Dynamic Pricing comes to McDonald's McDonald’s is using an AI-powered pricing engine to help determine menu prices based on transaction data and "customer willingness to pay" The AI engine doesn’t just look at McDonald’s sales. It also scrapes public menu prices from nearby Burger King and Wendy’s and folds those into the “optimal price.” The algorithms estimate “customer willingness to pay” at each restaurant and according to Reuters, store franchise owners say the company pressures them to use AI pricing tools "McDonald’s pricing engine uses machine-learning algorithms to continually analyze data from millions of daily transactions across McDonald’s nearly 14,000 restaurants and generate what the company calls “the optimal price” at each location for each menu item” - Reuters It’s a big difference 2 McDonald’s locations just 2 miles apart in Fresno, California were selling the same Big Mac for $5.69 vs $6.89. That’s a 21% difference The franchisee dashboard literally grades stores on how much locals will tolerate: “Your restaurant is showing MEDIUM SENSITIVITY to Price” based on “customer willingness to pay in your area.” This is every nightmare we were worried about coming true
