I belong to the Terminal 1 class in Ireland, most flights are Ryanair, and I really don't think they get the credit they deserve. Easy to mock the no frills model, but this is an Irish company that has revolutionised how we live, and should be celebrated.

You are the Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We have hostile states attacking us, an impending fuel crisis, a migrant influx threatening to cause total social collapse, and you are banging on about making my holiday marginally cheaper. You silly little man.

Then it will cost more than £50. The reason it's cheap is because it's stripped of any extras, it's for people who prioritise price over everything else. You're going to put the price up, basically.

The reason I don’t think Leo is cut from the same cloth is, put simply, that you have to be stupid or intellectually lazy to think so. Francis was an Argentinian Jesuit born in the 1930s, Peronist in outlook and probably pathologically disturbed. He was vengeful and unscrupulous. Leo is an American born in the 1950s, conflict-averse (unlike Francis) and profoundly respectful of church structures and procedures that Francis held in contempt.
Damian’s still in denial that Leo is cut from the same cloth as Francis. Cope is a helluva drug!

How did the Left end up supporting the Iranian regime? It’s a total mystery to me.

Ruth Coppinger TDclaims to be against gendered violence and yet she said I was "spreading hate" when I got women to tell their stories on my podcast of being sexually and physically assaulted in women's prisons and women's dv shelters. Coppinger is a massive coward and hypocrite.

Isn't Drumcree one of those situations where absolutely everyone is wrong? Too many people on both sides out to create a major issue of it and too many politicians on both sides spooked into ridiculous positions by fear of their hardline flank.

This is an incredible project from a hugely talented dev Make sure to support 🇮🇪
I have spent the last few weeks building Public Purse Ireland. Its aim is simple. List every line item of government expenditure with the supplier, description and the amount, starting with grants and purchase orders. No fancy charts, no broad economic strokes, but just there in black and white. The information is out there, scattered and hidden on the web. Public Purse brings it under one roof.

One year ago today. @SenatorMcDowell deprived us of having Maria Steen as our President because she outshone him during the Family & Care Referendum and the Eighth Amendment Referendum, what a petty little man he is. Every time you see Catherine Connolly it’s because of him.

The police are there to enforce the law, not the moral standards of others. Nationalist and republican politicians would have been better advised to ask residents to ignore the march, which is probably exactly what would have happened at 8am on most Sunday mornings.
Just because something meets a legal threshold, does not mean it is morally correct, due to the magnitude of the instability it causes. This contentious parade was chosen deliberately. It had been confined to the past. But now this sinister act throws the police & NI under a bus

The majority stand with our Irish team. @IrelandFootball — play the game. This is football. Not a referendum. Not a slogan. Not someone else’s ideology deciding who we are. Our lads pulled on the green jersey to represent Ireland, not to become a political chess piece. Let them do what they were born to do: compete, fight, and make us proud. If we let every cause, every campaign, and every fashionable outrage dictate who we play, we lose more than a match. We lose the simple, stubborn thing that has always bound this country together. 🇮🇪 Back the team. Play the game. #PlayTheGame

Excellent summary by the BBC of Pope Leo’s visit to France this morning. Covers ALL the issues. @rtenews leads immediately and exclusively with reference to abuse cases in France. Too much groupthink in RTÉ newsroom. Vive la différence. bbc.com/news/articles/cmq8j9…

The last time Ireland was in the firm grip of mass hysteria. The moving statues of 1985. It was strange being an 17 year old telling people they had lost their minds. Here we are 41 years later. Different religion, same mania.

Thanks John - It’s the fact they won’t publish officially released housing statistics is what’s really worrying. What else are they not publishing ? All trust is lost.
