I know Hull KR are happy to win after 40 years of drought... But why do we make such a song & dance of winning 'the hub cap', when it is only half the job done? Sometimes I think we forget that the Champions (like 81 of the 116 seasons) are decided by the last game of the year!

Cleary is on £630,593 a year and Super League salary cap is £2.1m a year Yeah, that’s manageable……

Here it is — the full list of the top 104 paid players in the NRL this year according to the Daily Telegraph. 💰 (Took me bloody ages to pull this together 😅)

Such a moving and gracious reply. Also, with a wider sports view, proof of why the @nrl is right to push the Pacific Championships in Rugby League, and what a good thing it is.

Would really encourage everyone to watch Samoa coach Ramsey Tomokino's answer to this question from @nickheathsport. Forget the score. It was moving to see how much today meant to everyone connected with this Samoa side.

And here it is again on the French Elite U19's Comp's fixture list for 2025-26. Who are this mysterious Koala team who will play a France team?

Hi @HeCanPlayFor Do you have any knowledge on if Wales, Ireland or Scotland's men's teams have any fixtures coming up this autumn? It seems that, of the World's top 20, only those three plus Lebanon are without published fixtures this year.

They can’t even announce test matches in NZ that are about 10 weeks away but they’ll book in Origin two years in advance. Anyone still think the NRL doesn’t treat international footy as an after-thought?

Hi @mrjamesob Seeing an interview you did with a farmer that got out of hand, I wanted to state the case sensibly, as a tenant farmer's son, who does his books. So, avg farm size round us c.400 acres (at £10k an acre) + house, barns, machinery & livestock = c.£5m valuation. 1/3

Assuming they are married & exempt up to £3m. £400k IHT over 10 years. A farm that size in last 15 years has likely made a profit of £20-30k p/a, which they have to live on. Thus finding £40k a year will be tough. Yes, they could sell some land but that would affect the... 2/3

... viability of their business. (To raise £400k sell 40 acres. Farm drops to 340 acres, so profitability lowers). If c.500 farmers do that each year & that land slips out of farming (as well as farmers), as a country we will have trouble feeding ourselves in times of need. 3/3

Hi @BradWalterSport May I please ask, when will the @NRL / ARLC / APRL be announcing the Pacific Champs 2024? I am sure they know what they are doing but two months does seem short notice for players, broadcasters, fans / ticket buyers (especially due to low crowds in 2023) etc

Thanks @BradWalterSport for this communication, and some clarity for all involved of where things are at. We appreciate it.

Hi @BradWalterSport @NoHelmetsReq @MikeMeehallWood @johnnyddavidson @SteveMascord How come still no word on RLWC 2026 host, or even timeline for announcing? Also five months from the start of men's qualifiers and still no plans or fixtures? (Plus Pacific Champs & England v ?)

𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐒 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐁𝐀𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄!! A special training session as the players all wore the shirts of their junior clubs…before then taking on the crossbar challenge! See if you can recognise some of the clubs or shirts being worn 👀 #WeAreLondon🏉

Hi @BradWalterSport Is there any news to come from the recent IRL meeting yet? Hoping to hear about 2024 internationals and 2026 qualifiers, and maybe hosts?

Dear @TheRFL @IntRL Seeing as Great Britain as a regular team was disbanded in 2007 to help pad out RLWC's (plus help grow the game) and now it is unlikely Wales, Scotland or Ireland will qualify for one in next ten years, can we have GB back please?

Also, as a way of keeping Wales and Scotland you could do a Duleep Trophy (Indian cricket) style selection comp with Wales, Scotland & England split in two. (Ireland, as containing a separate sovereign nation should keep their own international team.)
