Using worktress have absolutely nothing to do with the choice of programming languages. This is why software engineering and delivery fundamentals are even more critical today than ever before. It's like saying "I now understand why X devs use git" like Y devs don't need git.
I now understand why Javascript devs use worktrees. I've been vibe coding C++, which is WAY faster to code than JS. With JS a tiny fix and you spend 30 minutes waiting.

This is not about Dayo lacking situational awareness. Don't even try to play smart. This is about Tinubu's govt spending lavishly on his re-election, including exotic gifts to cronies, at the expense of Nigerians who've become poorer and have lost hope under his administration.
You are right. @dayoisrael 's behaviour reflects a lack of situational awareness. It is one thing to do the wrong thing; it is another thing entirely to gloat about it. It is sadder still because Dayo ought to know better. He has been through several levels of leadership development, across decades and platforms. I consider him a friend, but I am not scared of lambasting him privately (which I have done), and whilst I'd leave it at that normally, I'd do so publicly this time. I fear no repercussions from any mob for doing this. There is no need to deflect from a post saying you can't have development without infrastructure. You obidients are sick in the head when it comes to the things you stand for. Now do you see how two things can be true? The way you lot carry on is why the serious challenge to Dayo is coming from APC youth members rather than from you. They are the ones at the forefront of calling out their own Youth Leader, because they care, and because his behaviour, as we have all seen, is unpopular even among those who share his party. That is what must be learned here. Politics is not cultism. It shouldn't be obediency. People can agree to disagree without being attacked as though we were in some Hobbesian enclave. This is why you lot lose and will continue to lose. Because you are incapable of telling one another the truth. PS: This post will leave you F 00755744 confused. Don't sweat it. It is not really intended for you. I shared it for rational people to reflect.

Whenever you want money, he should just give you without asking. Banks constantly have money to dispense. Do us a favour, go there and just ask to be given free money.
This was so funny πŸ˜‚ They say β€œMen Dey” πŸ˜‚

Men dey, but it's always excluding their brothers, fathers, sons and uncles. No Nigerian woman I know will sit quietly if another woman moves with this level of entitlement and lack of appreciation to their son or brother. None!

Yes. I don't care to the extent that some people say I am proud. I am not. I just can be very indifferent.
Are you okay with people not liking you???

I've joined @AnthropicAI! I'll be working on Claude Code and making it better for developers who use it. Here's a little Fable & Three.js

They'll tell you there's no bed space, but the people who tip them magically get allotted the same non-existent bed space. There's some level of corruption and impunity involved.
This has to be shouted on rooftops. The main reason I left Nigeria in 2008 was poor healthcare. Since then, it has changed significantly, but only for those who can also afford to be flown out in an emergency.

Also why the Nigerians who are used to "trying to make a statement with big/flashy/latest cars" struggle here. Nobody send your car. The 2026 car you think you want to raise shoulder with, lots of people have it and anyone who wants it can get it.
Canada is a funny country. Put up my TV for free because of a faulty capacitor, and a Latin woman came through in a shiny new 2025 Range Rover to pick it up.

This is why I rent. I could have bought a house right after arriving πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦, but a mortgage is just a piece of the puzzle. The rest takes time to figure out. Crunching the numbers, asking hard questions about payment structures, and hearing real stories. We all learn as we go.
My cousin bought a $320,000 house in 2019. Mortgage was $1,400 a month. Life was simple. Fast forward to this week. He hasn't missed a single payment, hasn't refinanced, and hasn't added a single square foot to the property. His monthly payment just jumped to $2,100. Why? Because local property tax assessments skyrocketed 40%, and his homeowner's insurance premium doubled after two regional storms hit the state….even though his own house suffered zero damage. The bank sent a letter saying his escrow account had a $4,800 shortage, and they increased his monthly bill by $700 overnight to cover it. They tell you a fixed-rate mortgage locks in your housing costs for 30 years. What they don't tell you: The principal and interest are fixed, but the property taxes and insurance aren't. You never truly own your home…..you're just renting it from the city and insurance companies at a rate they can hike whenever they want.

Broke my own rule yesterday: child comes into my office and says, "Daddy, do you wanna see a card trick?" And I said "No, sorry, busy." Child walks outta the room and closes the door 😭 What a freaking dumbass I was. Later, when we were all together in the evening, same child asked if they could show me the magic trick then, to which I of course said yes and apologised for not giving them the time earlier. But man, even after all these years, I still have to remind myself that work (and whatever else feels β€œurgent”) will still be there in five minutes. The spontaneous β€œDaddy, wanna see a card trick?” moments won’t.

Depends on who her target audience is. That title and photos will make me ignore her for a long time. My wife will block her immediately and even ask me "why did you even open that post, cant you see she's not okay ..", so we are clearly not her audience. If you rage bait on X,
When I tell my YouTube automation students that your titles should spark curiosity and, once in a while, rage-bait your audience, this is exactly what I mean. β€œHusband is useless.” Why would she say that? What does she mean? β€œShe has a septum piercing, she’s not mentally stable.” β€œShe’s not okay.” β€œWhat do you mean?” β€œI pray you find a good husband.” The content of the book might even be going in a completely different direction, but that title is already doing its job. Learn!!!

I'll ignore or mute you. On YouTube, if I've watched ~3 of your videos that don't deliver on the title/thumbnail, or if you over-promise (e.g use AI to create a course in Y minutes), I'll unsubscribe and stop watching your content. So she's not wrong if she targets her audience.

Peace that our laws, law enforcement, and judiciary cannot guarantee is what a ceremony of signatures will provide? Its nothing but a noble/civic gesture, so pls let's manage our expectations.

Splitting data across N nodes gives you roughly NΓ— the write capacity, because each node handles a disjoint subset of keys. A single node has finite I/O ops, finite memory for indexes, and lock contention that gets worse under concurrent writes. Across nodes (horizontal ) each
1
41
per-partition B-trees mean cheaper index maintenance on insert, less lock contention on the hot region, the active partition's index stays in memory. So: partitioning helps writes in both cases. It just helps more dramatically across nodes, because that's the only version that
1

raises the ceiling rather than lowering the per-write cost. Scaling writes is the whole reason we split data by key in the first place. Just make sure the partition/shard keys do not create hot spots, which would be the opposite of distributing the data/load
27
In a recent technical conversation where I was asked how I'd scale a database and I said: (1) separate reads from writes and read from replicas (2) partition/shared to improve the writes They said partitioning improves reads, not writes πŸ€” Partitions/shards do scale writes πŸ‘‡
