Throwback to my days at Pitt! @Pitt_MBB #Hail2Pitt

It never gets old. For most of my life, I felt like there was a cement wall in front of me - and no way through. I was told over and over that I’d never amount to anything. But I learned something: you don’t have to see a way through. You just have to keep getting back up. Every setback. Every disappointment. Every time life knocks you down - get back up. Do it enough times, and eventually the wall that looked impossible is behind you. Now I get to stand in front of young people and remind them that where you start doesn’t determine where you finish. Helping a generation believe they can overcome what’s in front of them will always be one of the greatest privileges of my life. Grateful. Every single time. – at Arizona, USA

DON’T GIVE IN TO THE STORM. The storm will come. The pressure will rise. People will disappoint you. Plans will change. And some days, you’ll wonder how much more you can take. Keep going. Don’t let what happened to you change who you are. Don’t let the storm steal your faith. Don’t let adversity convince you that your best days are behind you. Stand tall. Stay grounded. Keep showing up. Because sometimes the storm isn’t there to destroy you… It’s there to reveal how strong you really are. The storm will pass. Your purpose won’t. - Chad Varga The best is still unwritten. 👊
