I don't want ads on every available surface. I don't want AR ads overlaying real world ads to target me. I don't want subconscious eye tracking data mined for deeply personal insights. No "excitement around AR," I'm concerned about abuse and manipulation of it without oversight.

This would be a war crime even if there were an actual war and these people were actual combatants, which there isn't and they weren't.
It's unquestionably an unlawful homicide under any form of law you wish to apply: military or civilian, domestic or international, federal or state.
Flat-out murder by any reasonable definition you can come up with.
