Today, we're announcing that @seqholdings partnership with DFO will take private of The Baldwin Group for $7.7B.
Four months ago, I joined Sequence as an intern because I believed AI was going to fundamentally change how businesses operate. Since then, I've had the chance to tackle that problem alongside some of the smartest and hardest-working engineers I've ever worked with.
During this time, I've witnessed a masterclass in what it looks like when great engineering, deep business understanding, and an exceptional team all come together.
After four months here, I've decided to drop out of Waterloo and return to Sequence Holdings full-time.
Frontier models will continue to get better, but access to intelligence alone is not enough. The harder problem is translating those capabilities into real business value. Sequence exists to bridge that gap by combining technology with deep operational understanding and helping businesses rethink how they operate from the ground up. That intersection of being a world-class engineer and being exceptionally business oriented is what makes the opportunity here so exciting.
There's no other place I'd rather be learning, building, and working on this problem. If working alongside world-class engineers to tackling some of the hardest business problems in the industry sounds interesting to you, we are hiring! (more below)
excited to delete my current phone plan 😛
We announced an agreement to acquire a nationwide low-band spectrum license portfolio that will pave the way for @Starlink to become a major mobile carrier in the US.
With this new spectrum and our Gen2 constellation, Starlink Mobile can ensure Americans have access to high-speed mobile broadband no matter where they are → spacex.com/updates#starlink-…

Introducing Mirai, the world’s first virtual neighborhood tour, backed by a16z @Speedrun.
World models are going to change how we experience the physical world. We’re building the application layer to enable that.
Our first deployment is real estate, for agents, brokerages, property platforms, and developers.
Mirai turns any address into an explorable simulation of the surrounding neighborhood.
Walk the streets. Visit the nearby café. Explore the park. Follow your commute. See what your day-to-day life there could actually look like before you move.
this is one of those instances where it’s so obvious the UGC videos are over exaggerated and people are dumbfounded to learn that not everything they see on social media is real 😂. even more stupid how these reporters even bothered tracing back the wins

My first podcast, with my friend and investor @saranormous. We talked about what we're building @seqholdings, why now, and the opportunity we see ahead.

I built a Photoshop-like image editor. It’s called Compositor.
robbietilton.com/compositor
I originally built it for myself to get off my Adobe subscription, but decided to release it for free and make it open source. It has all the essential tools I need for compositing, with none of the BS.
I know this workflow is kind of archaic in 2026, but I’m still using it until AI can actually get pixel-perfect on some of the details.
The entire app is 12MB. Photoshop is 6,455MB on my machine.
