New recent @ESO post on our @ERC_Research #WANDA team results! This is a proplyd in Orion for which we can calculate the effects of massive stars on the evolution of their disk!

The skies above Paranal are at risk from a proposed industrial megaproject.
This would be located in the vicinity of ESO's Observatory. If constructed, it would irreparably impact astronomical observations.

Each colour corresponds to a different wavelength. At certain wavelengths, emitted by elements like hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, sulfur, & iron, the nebula shines brightly, revealing intricate structures. 1/
