Tim Kight was one of those rare men who had a positive impact on everyone he met. The leadership he provided and the lessons he taught our staff made all of us better coaches, and better men. I will be forever in his debt. Heaven is an even better place today.

My dad, Tim Kight, died peacefully in his sleep last night.
He was so many things, to so many people, to so many of you. Whether or not you got to meet him, you felt him. He was that kind of presence.
But to me he was just Dad.
And that was everything.
I love you, Dad.

Overcoming adversity is a non-negotiable element of growth.
Some people are crushed by adversity. Others survive it. Still others get better because of it.
When adversity hits (which it will), be the kind of person who gets better because of it.

The problem in many situations is not that we don’t know enough — we don’t, but that can be corrected through learning. The problem is we think we know enough & waste time defending when we should be investing time learning & growing. A growth mindset is humble & hungry to learn.
