Honored to receive this named Professorship, which is also held by @cf2_group. I also took some time to learn about Prof. A. J. Hartsook, who served as Dept. Heat of Chemical Engineering from 1927 - 1956. Read more about the history here (from @kyzygo ): shorturl.at/L1uyA
Rafael Verduzco has been named A.J. Hartsook Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. His research focuses on developing polymers for applications in the recovery of valuable minerals from wastewater and for water remediation. engineering.rice.edu/news/ra…

I loved getting to see my academic family at #AIChE2023 🤗
Visit us at the booth 101 at #ARPAE23 to know more about our work on sustainable Carbon Nanotube Fiber Technology.
Our PhD student Ivan Rosa de Siqueira presented his work on isotropic-nematic phase transitions in length polydisperse CNT solutions at the 93rd Society of Rheology Annual Meeting #SOR2022
We had a Pasquali lab alumni get together at the @RiceCHBE reception at #AIChE2022. It’s nice to see many generations of the Pasquali family tree all together!
Our PhD students Michelle Duran Chaves and Mitchell Trafford represented the cf2 group at #ACSFall2022. They both gave great oral presentations on their current work in polydispersity and doping of carbon nanotube fibers.
