Trump takes every slight as a personal affront and sees enemies in all disagreements. Now that he's old and ill, he suffers narcissistic injury more easily; he is owned by his disorders. One of the things Trump does when he's feeling injured from a recent humiliation, is to sign an Executive Order or make a declaration and/or threat which can be pointless, absurd, or childish; but in so doing so, it allows him, and his disordered brain, to profess grandiosity. Absurdity and childishness is now his brand. He is a caricature, a punchline, a global embarrassment, and a pathological mess.
