Very excited for a new pub led by @prkaliush. We found an effect of maternal childhood trauma on infant neurobehavior at birth. The review process was long but the editor was great. In child dev world, maternal experience is often ignored, even though motherhood is so important.
📢 NEW PUB‼️ #maternal #trauma, #prenatal health, #newborn neurobx. SO MUCH support from @crowell_sheila @lizconradt & Patricia Kerig in navigating a confusing & exhausting peer review process (happy to share more if we ever meet over drinks 😅). Enjoy!

In the whirlwind intern interviews, I neglected to recognize the amazing team of folks (@JuliannaPrim @ABauerPhD @BNGaynes) that showed that virtual interventions, including internet-based CBT, are no less effective than face-to-face therapy for major depression. @UNCPsychiatry
