So if I understand correctly, the Go runtime gathers a full stack trace and saves it each time there's a Go->C transition. Does anyone in my Twitter bubble happen to know the reason *why* they do that?

Drone vs. Tesla details are out. See how we used a 0click exploit to make the wings of a #ModelX flap by attacking it from a #MavicAir2. Central bug was a stack buffer overflow in ConnMan (pre v1.39). Fixed in #Tesla firmwares since we reported to their bug bounty in Oct 2020.
CANSECWEST 2021 Folks can watch Ralf-Philippe Weinmann, @esizkur and Benedikt Schmotzle present "TBone: Drone vs. Tesla" here. The whitepaper is at tbone.sh youtu.be/krSj81thN0w
