@DrEricLevi Close contact? No worries. Tonight, my wife will be following the slick advice broadcasted by Australia’s Booger Doctor on how to dig her nose to get the best (and hopefully negative) results. #ismellarat @theprojecttv
Opening up at 80% can mean:
(A) having our freedoms back and returning to life as normal, or
(B) living under constant threat of infection and thereafter fighting to stay alive in ICU (assuming there is a bed for you)
Get your shot. Before it’s too late.

Close contact in my centre defined as 2 hours in the same space or 15 min face to face. If N95 worn no quarantine. Agree surgical mask seems inadequate as some staff have tested positive with that PPE level.

"social isolation is not an act of fear - it's an act of love." You show you care when you don’t put others in harm’s way by spreading the virus. Your freedom is less important than the life of another person. Let’s flatten this curve together. apple.news/A0CNB88l0RjOa-z8d…
which is why @butterflyIQ makes sense. What about your shop? How many EPs can scan LUS?
This is sensible since most abnormalities are basal, peripheral and bilateral
Decision to buy from hospital exec 😳 cos of 1) backing by respiratory unit 2) Chinese recommending the use of LUS in addition to CT for risk stratification 3) recent fund injection. Other EDs should consider!

@JMRothberg thinking of buying some #butterflyIQ probes to tackle the probable #COVID19 surge in our ED. Portable, easier to clean but is it up for the challenge? What is the experience compared with a bigger machine? @lukemphillips @kyliebaker888 @zedunow
It doesn’t get any simpler than this! Great stuff!

Eric, go back to your roots. Dig deep. You’re a great surgeon and don’t let anyone else cut you down.
Has anyone heard of or introduced this protocol in their cardiac arrest echos? @EMAJournal @kyliebaker888 @zedunow onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…
Game changer in resus but how many can execute this easily in Australasia?
