In 2021, Leilani Lutali was in stage 5 kidney failure. She already had a living donor, Jaimee Fougner, a friend from Bible study. UCHealth in Colorado told them the transplant was on track. Then the policy changed.
Both women were given 30 days to start the COVID vaccine or be dropped from the list. Leilani offered to sign a waiver. They refused. The hospital’s line was simple: no shot, no kidney.
She did not die on that list. She and Jaimee went to Baylor in Texas. The transplant went ahead without the mandate. Kidney function jumped from about 5% to 73% after surgery.
A willing donor. A dying patient. And a hospital that made the injection the price of staying alive.
Never forget they did this.

This is what the First Amendment actually says:

Speech and press are not the same as a blank check. The Supreme Court has long held that the government may regulate certain categories of expression and may impose content-neutral restrictions on time, place, and manner. Examples:

True threats
Defamation
Obscenity
Fraud and certain commercial speech
Copyright and other intellectual-property limits
Narrow national-security restrictions
Your freedom of speech has not been abridged, nor has freedom of the press.

Today, the Institute for Energy Research released a new report finding that the focus on the U.S. trade deficit with Canada misstates the relationship. Most of what America buys from Canada is discounted crude oil, natural gas, potash, and unfinished metals that U.S. workers refine into higher-value products and export at a premium.
By updating our trade accounting to grant a domestic designation to raw Canadian inputs that are refined in U.S. facilities, policymakers can scrub tens of billions of dollars from the trade deficit.

NEW: DHS confirms that a semi-truck driver arrested for killing two people in a multi-car crash in Southern California is an Indian illegal alien who was caught and released at the AZ border by the Biden admin & given a commercial driver's license (CDL) by the state of California. DHS says Chamkaur Singh was arrested by police in Moab, UT during a traffic stop after it was revealed he had a nationwide futile arrest warrant for homicide - vehicular manslaughter, in relation to a deadly crash he was involved in Ontario, CA in March in which he crashed into multiple cars, killing two people in separate vehicles.
DHS says Singh's California CDL remains active despite having multiple driving convictions on his CDL record for improper lane or location, following too closely, and speeding. ICE has placed a detainer on Singh with local law enforcement in Utah.
DHS statement: “This illegal alien from India is accused of causing a semi-truck crash that killed two people in California,” said DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin. “Due to the Biden Administration’s open borders and Gavin Newsom’s sanctuary policies, this criminal was released into our country and granted a commercial driver’s license. Despite having three convictions on his driving record, his CDL is still active."

Yesterday, I spoke with Homeland Security Secretary Mullin, who confirmed that Texas will receive $7.5 BILLION as part of the federal funding to reimburse our border security costs.
Texas held the line when Washington would not. Now, Washington is reimbursing Texas taxpayers for those expenses.

Sept 4: Shirley sues California, arguing the law violates the First Amendment.
Sept 15: DOJ charges 12 people in a $10 million San Diego ghost-daycare scheme.
One operator, Abdulrahman Alawad, billed for 23 children. Federal surveillance saw kids there on just 1 of 57 days.
The fraud was real.
Newsom's answer was a law aimed at the people exposing it.
