Attacking wildlife with catapults, presumably, rather than flinging badgers over hedges...
From TVP Rural Crime Taskforce
Officers from the Taskforce have patrolled the Thames Valley area tonight 🚔
We received reports of males catapulting wildlife in Iver. Please continue to report these incidents to us when they are occurring ☎️
A male was also searched under S23 Misuse of Drugs Act in Iver and dealt with for possession of cannabis. Another male was arrested near Oxford for breaching court bail conditions. He has been remanded to court later today 👨⚖️

Idk, this seems somehow even more perverted.
President Trump and his advisers are debating whether to call off plans to livestream the firing squad execution of the Fort Hood shooter, with Trump having remarked privately that he did not initially know that Nidal Hasan was paralyzed from the waist down, two sources told CNN.

I think that if the BBC are doing so little in the English Midlands that it doesn't make sense to keep doing the Archers there that speaks to a much deeper problem that needs addressing, and then your argument would go away.

The fix for this in my view would be undoing Thatcher and Major reforms and returning Polytechnics etc... to local control. You would soon get calls to return schooling to local control to fit in with that local system I think. This would make the whole education system "worse".

Nice thing about Abbey Wood estate is aside from the crumbling public buildings, public spaces, the chronic dumping of rubbish and wholesale neglect is how walls just fall over on council land.

Our proposals:
❌ Cap routine precept rises, with a way to exceed the cap backed by a clear democratic mandate.
👋 Help tiny councils share overheads.
🔍 Introduce proportionate value-for-money scrutiny for larger councils.

It has been reported that the Countess of Chester neonatal unit has rejected the idea of cot cams. They have decided instead that "consultant cams" should be fitted to guarantee the consultants visit the ward more than twice a week.
