What? No I’ve been a liberal Brewers fan my entire life, obviously it’s been one hell of a year for me. In a few hours, we’ll find out if I’ve been Muslim this whole time too

IRGC: Why are you bombing us
Rubio: Because Xerxes burned Athens
Replying to @SariArhoHavren
Russia, China and Ukraine are not mentioned in Rubio’s speech; the only named adversary is Iran. Xerxes burning Athens does the work of legitimising the current war.

A young woman agreed to a "threesome" because she liked guy number one. She did not go over to a frat house specifically because she wanted a "threesome" and certainly not because she desired sex or groping or whatever happened at the hands of *seven men* xitter.cf/darkkni04810878/status…

Two thoughts:
1) This is cool as hell
2) Reading the replies has me ready to campaign for the complete disenfranchisement of the entire population, you people are spiritual slaves

I’m sorry but America did not spend 250 years turning “what’s over there?” into the most powerful civilization on earth just to finally arrive at the most consequential technological frontier in generations and decide actually we’re scared of frontiers now. We ARE the fucking frontier. We cross oceans. We build railroads across continents. We split atoms. We put men on the moon. We turn sand into computers and computers into a global nervous system.
Of COURSE AI is terrifying. The frontier is SUPPOSED to scare the shit out of you. That’s how you know you have, in fact, located the fucking frontier.
The answer is not recklessness, but it sure as fuck isn’t paralysis either. America’s comparative advantage is an unusually high national tolerance for ambitious weirdos staring at impossible things and saying “Yeah... I think I can build it.” That trait is rarer than oil, harder to manufacture than semiconductors, and responsible for a frankly preposterous amount of the modern world.
And you absolutely will not fucking regulate it out of us.

Great. Your town’s economic development plan can remain a Dollar General and three vape shops

So . . . normal woman.
Rachel Sennott says she learned “how many small things you have to decide” while directing and showrunning “I Love LA":
"I was making so many decisions on set that I became so unable to make a decision outside of it. My boyfriend was like, 'What are you thinking for dinner?' I was like — full breakdown. So overwhelmed."
