Your performance-based identity is destroying you.
It leads to constant anxiety and total burnout.
Confidence only comes from one place - and it's not what you think.
Here's how to build unshakeable confidence from the Simon Sinek podcast (backed by science):

It’s over for Google if Reddit figures out how to make searching in-platform work.

You can’t sell a mass-market EV
You can’t make a Gigafactory
You can’t build a charging network
You can’t engineer your own rockets
You can’t reuse boosters
You can’t buy a social media platform
You can’t launch a satellite network
You can’t fight for free speech
You can’t catch a rocket from space
You can’t, you can’t, you can’t.
He did.
Keep this in mind next time you hear “you can’t.”

You don't need to be a programmer to build a web app in 2024.
I used v0 + Claude + Cursor AI to build a web app as a complete programming newbie!
The Only 3 Programs You Need to Build Simple Web Apps in 2024:
✅ Claude: AI assistance for planning
✅ v0: For rapid prototyping and visualization
✅ Cursor AI: AI-powered coding companion
I stumbled upon these programs and wanted to test them out... and I got completely addicted to creating with them.
In total, I spent $20 creating this app:
💰 $0 Cursor – They give you 500 requests free to start
💰 $0 Claude
💰 $20 v0
I'm definitely subscribing to Cursor now that my free requests are spent. The best part is that these subscriptions can be used for multiple things.
I didn't pay $20 for Vercel to make me one app — I paid $20 for an assistant who can design, in seconds, any User Interface I can describe.
In 2024, your ability to create is limited only by how well you can describe your ideas.
What did I build? A calorie-calculating app called "Calorie Compass."🧭
Why a calorie calculator app? Exercise and diet have become passions of mine over the last few years. Tracking and setting goals for my calorie intake was the thing that finally allowed me to reach my weight goals.
There's an email collection form on Calorie Compass to gauge interest in a potential fitness newsletter about getting fit and establishing diets that don't suck.
What ideas will you bring to life? You can check out Calorie Compass in the comments!

It may look fancy and formal but it was just created by your colleagues.

It's amazing how much you learn when you stop trying to learn and start trying to do things.
