ALT This week, we stand together against hate and remind our community that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and included. Hate crime is a criminal offence motivated by hostility or prejudice towards someone because of their race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity. In Greater Manchester, hate crime targeting people from alternative subcultures is also recognised and monitored. Hate has no place in our communities. We all have a role in challenging prejudice and building safer, stronger and more inclusive communities. See something? Stand together. Speak up. Report hate. If you experience or witness a hate crime, information about reporting and available support can be found at: 🔗 www.letsendhatecrime.com #HateCrimeAwarenessWeek #ManchesterCityCouncil #ManchesterCommunityCentral #CEDEFoundation
