js a random night, putting her in my story on my dump acc (cuz i’m not even sure if i’ll get a ticket) and saying “i hope i’m lucky enough to get to say all of this to you someday” and here she is, popping out of nowhere 🥲
perhaps the universe really does listen sometimes :)

“I’m not here to prove anything. I am here because of all of you. I show up because you keep showing up. Every time we announce that we’re going to have a concert, you just show up. You don’t care kahit anong kondisyon ng boses ko…” 🥹❤️

“In four years, I will be 60. It’s just a big stage, I decided to retire some of my songs.
So, some of my songs you heard tonight, you probably won’t hear them anymore. I won’t probably sing them anymore. Why? Because I can’t anymore, I don’t have that voice for them anymore.”

Bet na bet ko talaga yung mga ganitong ad placements sa broadsheets back then announcing the certifications of albums and sold out concerts.
Regine Velasquez’s R2K and Sarah Geronimo’s Popstar… A Dream Come True are 2 of the bestselling OPM albums of all time and reportedly breached the diamond certification status pero ang weird lang ng VIVA na sobrang importanteng milestone nito in an artist’s career pero hindi nag award ng 10x Platinum plaque.
