Looking forward to presenting this workshop at the @CatholicEdAu, ACEC Conference in August. My colleague Jennifer White and I will explore how two systems, @ceacg and @CathEdTas, are transforming learning through scale implementation of High Impact Teaching Practice, the positive impact on student learning and the support for teachers with evidence informed professional learning and coaching.

Was great to be a part of the panel at the Advancing Effective Education 2025 discussing the journey at @ceacg approach to teaching and learning through Catalyst, with colleagues from Catholic Education Lismore and Tasmania. At the heart of what we do is equity and excellence for all to reach their full potential. Great to now start hearing stories from across the country and the shifting educational landscape to be a more evidence-based approach. Collectively in education, we can make a difference to every single child’s future. What a privilege we have!

We are pleased at @ceacg to host @C_Hendrick when he visits Australia at the end of June. Carl will lead sessions on How Learning Happens, Checking for Understanding and Responsive Teaching for CECG teachers. I’m a big fan of Carl and his book ‘How Learning Happens’ was the game changing moment for me. Side note - I had the pleasure to meet co-author @P_A_Kirschner when I attended EducationFest over in England a couple of years ago, and now will have the chance to meet Carl. Can’t wait 🙌🏼 #Catalyst

It was great to host 30 colleagues from New Zealand at @ceacg for the last three days. Visiting across 10 schools to see the changes that have occurred through Catalyst and observe HITP in action. The visitors heard directly from leaders and teachers of the positive impact that Catalyst has had on their leadership, teaching practice and student learning. Feedback was provided that a clear alignment was evident from system to school and classroom, and one visitor detailed what he saw as ‘explicit and direct instruction with heart’. We have amazing leaders and teachers across our 56 schools and I’m extremely honoured to be a part of our system. We are stronger as one and we are truly transforming students’ lives through learning #Catalyst
