💉Mr. Measles is on the ballot. Outside the RNC convention, a “walking measles” display drew attention as part of a social welfare organization’s protest against the Trump administration’s executive order directing federal health officials to consider separating the measles, mumps and rubella vaccines. With measles cases rising nationwide, critics warn the move could confuse parents and put children at greater risk as they return to school. The order was spearheaded by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a longtime leader of the anti-vaccine movement. His supporters have questioned whether vaccines contribute to rising autism rates and argued that the MMR vaccine can be harmful, despite no independent sustained researching linking the two. #rfk #vaccines #rnc #midterms #measles
