Racing horses doesn't make you a farmer, so a little common sense from Ottawa would go a long way. Canuck is proud to be among the lead voices advocating for fair tax treatment of Canada's horse racing industry and the thousands of jobs it supports.

Modernizing Canada’s tax rules to better reflect today’s agricultural and equine businesses has the potential to unlock investment, create jobs, and drive economic growth.
Reforming Section 31 of the Income Tax Act would be an important step forward for Canada’s horse racing and breeding industry, helping attract investment, strengthen rural economies, and improve our ability to compete with the U.S. Thoroughbred industry.
Thank you to CTV for shining a spotlight on this important issue: ctvnews.ca/business/article/…

In the same game, 6'6 Bedkowski throws a questionable hit and then when Liam Spencer came to fight him, he turtled and wouldn't fight back
🥊 #Sabres 2025 3rd round prospect defenceman David Bedkowski of the Ottawa 67’s drops the gloves with Niagara IceDogs Christian Colosimo.
A heavyweight tilt for the #OHL as Bedkowski stands at 6’6, 220 lbs, while Colosimi is 6’5, 220 lbs. Win to #38.

The CEO of Enbridge took a shot at former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
"Out doing Top 40 things with Katy Perry...that's probably a better use of time for that individual"
🇨🇦 "Two years ago, the government was trying to shut this industry down."
@Enbridge CEO Greg Ebel says Canada has turned a corner—and believes the country's oil and gas industry is poised for a comeback.
He explains why Canadian energy has become a strategic advantage, why Europe and the U.S. need reliable Canadian supply, and why he believes the industry has a much bigger role to play in an increasingly uncertain world.

Funding delays for nearly 6 months and counting. How much is enough @WoodbineTB? Taking money from the pockets of your own horse people to subsidize your own budgetary shortfalls. @ONTRacing does all the heavy lifting for the industry and you want to bully with your veto powers. Time for some accountability and leadership. @fordnation @theTDN @BloodHorse @paulickreport @TheTorontoSun @TorontoStar @globeandmail @CTHSOntario @HBPA_ONT
Funding Delay Sparks Industry Tension as Political Pressure Builds
While funding has been approved at the government and industry level, final execution requires sign-off from all parties, which has stalled. #horseracing #TBbreeders

Building games is scary. We built the best game we've ever made. Only 214 people are playing it. I'm going to get to 10,000 and share the whole journey- every win, every failure. First move: setting up a table at a baseball card show this weekend to convince collectors to try a mobile game. No idea if it'll work.
