The new season of the hit show "Ted Lasso" is about a women's team, and the 1st episode features scenes from CPKC Park w/the Kansas City Current. Given the wide appeal of the show, it's a prime opportunity for the #NWSL to reach a new audience. espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/4…

As new 'Ted Lasso' season premieres, fans might recognize a real-life NWSL club on the show

The new season of "Ted Lasso" was filmed in the U.S. at a real-life NWSL club for a cameo that serves as a key plot point of the show.

Jason Sudeikis' ties to Kansas City helped shape "Ted Lasso's" next chapter. The show's move into women's soccer wasn't accidental. More from @asli_pelit as it begins the season at the home of @thekccurrent. nyti.ms/3TVv60k?utm_medium=s…
