Lord, prepare our hearts for church before we even walk through the door. Quiet the distractions, renew our spirit, and help us come ready to worship, listen, and receive what You have for us. Let us leave changed—and ready to carry Your love into the week ahead.
Amen.
If you ask me for life advice you’ll end up:
In a relationship with Jesus.
Studying the Bible.
Lifting heavy weights.
On a date with your wife.
Spending time with your kids (and grandkids).
Drinking coffee.
I dare you to completely surrender your life to God and watch Him change your family’s story so radically that generations after you are impacted the decision you make.
Generational change starts with one surrendered life.
A Letter from the Gym, on this day of our Lord October 17
My Dearest Friend,
I write to you in a most delicate condition, having attended to Leg Day with far too much confidence and courage.
The iron was lifted, the extensions were performed, and the hack squat—those wicked instruments of torment—were endured. At the time, I declared myself quite strong. This morning, however, I attempted to rise from a chair and discovered that my legs have resigned from their duties without notice.
The stairs now appear as a mountain range, and sitting down requires a plan, a prayer, and possibly the assistance of a trusted companion.
Still, I shall return to the gym, for I am a person of courage—or poor judgment. Pray for me, dear friend, and should you see me walking like a newborn colt, kindly pretend it is the latest fashion.
Yours in soreness and great regret,
A Devoted Student of The Gym
LADIES!
Stop chasing skinny. Start building muscle. Weight training helps you get stronger, build muscle, and feel more capable in everyday life. Every set and every rep is a chance to challenge yourself and make progress. You don’t have to get smaller to get healthier or fitter—pick up the weights, keep showing up, and celebrate what your body can do. 💪
“Middle school, high school, and college students: don’t settle for a faith that only makes you comfortable.
Find a church that opens the Bible and helps you understand all of it—the promises and the warnings, the grace and the call to follow Jesus with your whole life.
You need more than words that make you feel good for a moment. You need truth that strengthens you, corrects you, and helps you stand firm when life gets hard.
Look for a church that will challenge your faith, walk with you, and point you toward Jesus—not just tell you what you want to hear.
Come hungry for truth. Come ready to grow.”

"If we don't take a stand for Christianity, if we don't vote right and pray right, then 10 years from now the scriptures might be illegal in America!"
"There is another entity taking over the whole world that will persecute Christianity and put believers to death!"
I pray this reaches the right ears.
It’s time for the Church to wake up! Stop idolizing celebrity Christians/Pastors. We need servants. We need disciples. We need people who look and act like Jesus when nobody is watching.
Every dumbbell in the gym is quietly waiting to prove an age stereotype wrong.
Strength doesn’t have an expiration date. Progress isn’t reserved for the young. Show up, train smart, and keep getting stronger.
You don’t have to be a certain age to lift—you just have to be willing to start. 💪
Wearing crocs to the the gym because..
* The ventilation keeps your toes cool while your workout choices stay questionable.
* They’re basically lifting shoes—if your goal is to lift eyebrows.
* You can switch from treadmill to gardening without changing footwear.
* The heel strap adds elite-level athletic technology. Probably.
* Who needs grip when you have confidence?
* They’re comfortable enough to help you recover from the embarrassment.
* Crocs at the gym: because the weights aren’t the only thing you’re testing.
* Crocs are gym shoes for people who want their warm-up to include explaining their shoes.
* They’re great for cardio—especially when everyone else runs away from you.
* Nothing says “I came to lift” like footwear that can also survive a water park.
* They’re ideal for deadlifts: if the weight drops, at least your toes had a good run.
* It’s called functional fashion. The function is making real lifters ask questions.

Do NOT surrender a privilege that others have DIED to secure.
Do NOT allow your disappointment in political candidates to become an excuse for abandoning your responsibility as a citizen.
Do NOT by default let the forces that would destroy our Constitution and our country WIN.
Having lived under a socialist dictatorship, I know firsthand what it means to live without the freedoms we enjoy in America. And I can tell you—I do NOT take the privilege of voting lightly. Neither should YOU!
Remember, we are NOT voting for a savior. We already have One—Jesus Christ.
We are choosing leaders who will shape the future of our nation for OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN.
So PRAY. Examine the candidates carefully. Make your decision based on Biblical principles. And do NOT surrender your voice.

Pornography is a plague infecting our culture, a sin destroying souls, and a menace poisoning marriages and families.
It fuels lust, enslaves minds, degrades women, and corrupts men.
Stop excusing what God condemns.
Repent. Flee sexual immorality. Pursue holiness.

I want my love for Jesus to be more than something I profess.
I want it woven into the way I live so deeply that it’s evident in…
how I speak, how I forgive, how I serve, how I endure, how I love.
I want ppl to know how much I love Him, not bc I tell them, but bc they see it.
The Truth Will Set You Free—but Lies Will Keep You Bound
Lies make bondage look like freedom
A lie often sounds comforting at first.
“Just this once won’t hurt.”
“I can stop whenever I want.”
“What I do in private doesn’t affect anyone else.”
“I’m too far gone for God to forgive me.”
“I don’t need to change; this is just who I am.”
“Everybody’s doing it, so it must be okay.”
But a lie never leads us where it promises. Sin may promise pleasure, control, or escape, but it eventually takes more than it gives. It can damage our relationship with God, hurt the people we love, and leave us carrying shame and regret.
Jesus described the devil as “a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44). The enemy wants us to distrust God’s Word and believe that disobedience will bring life. But God’s commands are not designed to rob us of joy. They show us the way to life.
A mind filled with God’s word has no time for the enemies lies.
