"your #AgentCore runtime isn’t like a permanently running EC2 instance. It’s more like Lambda + Fargate had a baby." <- ChatGPT 😀
Using Jupyter notebooks for operations is... well, just kinda bat-shit crazy. Even in demo/POC scenarios.

Interesting announcement about FluxNova (fluxnova.finos.org/) - but the repo seems to be private? github.com/finos/fluxnova-bp…
Just added my bsky url to my profile. If there are any folks over there who you think I should follow, please tell me.
I've just published my first (personal) blog post in quite some time.
Applying Temporal to Request/Response Microservices (blog.corneliadavis.com/apply…)
Goal, resilience. I applied to to the code example that runs through my book.
I obviously haven't posted in a long time, but I'm getting back "out there" so am forced to face the quandary - what social platform to use. I'm going to give myself permission to experiment for a bit, including being here on X. We'll see for how long.
I've just spent the weekend digging into a number of AI engines and frameworks. There is so much to learn, and so much to share.
The hype around #EdgeAI is real (and fair!), but are you ready to make the most of it?
If you want to hop on this train, click below to save your spot to join @cdavisafc and @SaaMalik to learn all things Edge AI, and get their best insights and tips👇

I just listened to @OnPointRadio with @MeghnaWBUR, interviewing @NPRKelly and it was stunning. Not shocking, but ohhh so good! Mary Louise is a mom 1st (check her profile) and a wildly successful journalist. She speaks frankly and powerfully about that combination.#deepestrespect
Dopamine hit!!!! I am writing to a database from @rustlang !!! 🙌
(it's the little things 🤪)
The EFTPS (the website for making electronic fed tax payments) is excruciatingly bad. Please @IRSnews, bring in some professionals to fix this!
I am so hopelessly sentimental that I keep mementos like these around forever. Breaking the seal today! #pivotal @cloudfoundry @VMwareTanzu

This is fucking ridiculous.
For @wsj to say flat out that SVB could have failed because they added non-white men to their board shows how far behind the times (and certifiably stupid) this publication really is. It makes me so angry and very sad. WSJ readers and staff deserve better.
Thanks to @rustlang I am expanding my vocabulary:
e·li·sion
/əˈliZH(ə)n/
noun
the omission of a sound or syllable when speaking
lifetime annotations are required for structs that contain references, but may sometimes be elided in function definitions.

Haven't nailed my @rustlang "toe turn" just yet - but am getting closer. 🏂😄
Lookie what came today! First time ever preordering a book. @rustlang @Carols10cents @steveklabnik
Spent week one of my sabbatical with @rustlang and, strangely ended up sorting out my understanding of iterators and their backing data structures.
