I visited Auschwitz-Birkenau last year and it was probably the most moving experience of my life. Sadly, seeing the state of the world today, I think many have already forgotten.

I've never been that into Greek mythology, but since I saw The Odyssey (and really enjoyed it) I've picked up these 2 books in charity shops to give them a go.

I'm not usually one for kitchen gadgets, as I think most are a waste of money, but this avocado gadget is a game changer. No longer will I nearly stab myself while trying to remove the stone with a knife.

Just had a very late dinner as I wasn't hungry earlier. Made a salmon bowl with rice, avocado, salad and teriyaki dressing. OMG it was so nice I could eat it all over again 😋

I knew very little about Anthony Bourdain before seeing #Tony but I LOVED it. It's a gem of a film, with a great cast (special shout out to Antonio Banderas who is wonderful in this!) Can't recommend it enough 👍

After a terrible experience when Wickes did my bathroom 5 years ago I decided to go with a local firm for my kitchen. Even worse so far, as they can't even confirm when the work will start, despite me paying them a huge deposit.

Finished watching Turning Point: Generation 9/11 on Netflix. Excellent documentary and a reminder that for children born around 2000 (like my son, born 1998), 9/11 is history, not something they remember. I compare it to me being born 27 years after the end of WW2. Mind blown.

Seeing arguments between supporters of King Charles and supporters of Charles Spencer. I don't like either of them.

Now I know how the Nazis turned Germany into a dictatorship. The irony is that the US fought against them.
