Theory: The Dark Crystal is set in the Star Wars universe, thousands of years prior to ANH. Skeksis and Mystics are early Sith and Jedi.
Maybe my most proud Twitter moment?
How do you navigate the complicated world of being both parent & entrepreneur? @ccashdollar shares his mantra: buff.ly/2uGRPQo
Some fav moments involving Twitter (that I can remember):
The annual Reading of the Tweets at the @happycog holiday party. Staff would take turns reading specific curated tweets and everyone would have to guess the author.
Those peak halcyon days of Twitter for me were very much linked to the web design community and working at Happy Cog. So many great folks I met; clients and coworkers and awesome peeps at conferences. It exploded this introvert’s worldview.
Another memory: I joined Twitter not long after my first kid was born. I would Tweet out his first words as they came out of his mouth. A modern redo on the whole baby book thing that Gen X had growing up.
Wondering if this is what it was like when they shut down the last of the phone party lines? Looking back, Twitter kinda felt like the digital maturation of that concept.
So much sucks right now but the rotisserie #chicken man story is the right kind of Philadelphia weird that I love.
That @philaunion loss hurts as much as watching Francisco Cabrera knock home Sid Bream in the bottom of the ninth in Game 7 of the 1992 NLCS.
If there was still any doubt that Republicans are purposefully trying to get trans kids killed, this’ll erase any of that.
